Taylor Swift has so many new hits on her hands with the vault tracks from 1989 (Taylor’s Version) and we gotta talk about “Suburban Legends.”
The 33-year-old singer sings about a relationship that is bound to make an impact on her life, even if it has to end in heartbreak.
Fans think the song sounds similar to her Midnights song “Mastermind” and some are calling the songs cousins.
“I didn’t come here to make friends / We were born to be suburban legends / When you hold me, it holds me together / And you kiss me in a way that’s gonna screw me up forever,” Taylor sings in the chorus of the song.
In the song’s outro, Taylor references heartbreak that she brought on herself.

News broke on April 10 that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn had quietly called it quits this spring after six years together. Though the pair were together for a long time, both were mostly tight-lipped about their connection and life together - except, that is, when it came to Swift's songwriting.
The pair first connected while Swift was working on her 2017 album "Reputation," and fans believe quite a few songs on the record are about her then-new boyfriend. Many of the songs on her "Lover" album, released in 2019, are all about falling deeper in love with her longtime beau. Her single "Lover," which includes quite a few wedding references, even sparked major engagement rumors for the pair.
When Swift released "Folklore" and "Evermore" in 2020, not only were a few of the songs about her romance with Alwyn, but she teamed up with her partner to write some of them as well.

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert film premiered Wednesday night to an enthusiastic crowd of celebrities, fans and of course Taylor’s team, with the star of the film in attendance. As one of the first to see the film, TheWrap has the scoop on which songs from the wildly popular tour made the film, and which songs were cut.
After making speeches in multiple auditoriums for separate audiences, Swift, clad in a sky blue floral-patterned dress (probably in theme for “1989 (Taylor’s Version) with her hair pinned up like the signature bob she had when that album first came out), sat back to enjoy the experience in one of the IMAX screening rooms with her background vocalists and publicist Tree Paine.
The documentary runs 2 hours and 48 minutes, slightly shorter than Swift’s three-hour setlist and performance, which she has brought to 17 of the United States so far in addition to Mexico.

So, what’s the set list for the movie?

“The Jewel Thief” follows the exploits of lifelong criminal Gerald Blanchard, who graduated from ripping off his local Radio Shacks in the ’80s — he once cleaned out an entire store — to stealing the Sis Star, a famous crown jewel, in Austria.
And perhaps even more amazing, Blanchard documented his own crimes every step of the way, giving director Landon Van Soest ample material to craft this eye-opening doc, which premiered this week on Hulu.
“It’s a gift as a filmmaker to have so much to work with,” Van Soest told TheWrap when he sat down to discuss this stranger-than-fiction tale of one man who took pride in outwitting banks and security systems and baffling police around the world.

Goodbye, angels.
“The Idol” — or at least its first season — came to a conclusion after five episodes on Sunday night, but not without the usual dose of darkly sexual ups and downs for its jewel-eyed, rat-tailed stars.
Titled “Jocelyn Forever,” the episode begins with Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp) at her home, working on a song with prolific hip-hop producer Mike Dean (played by himself). As she sings lyrics Tedros (Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye) prompted her to write — “My kinda love / Force me, choke me ’till I pass out” — it becomes clear that the ex-pimp’s coke habit has caught up to him. Sweating, with his hair beginning to fall out of his famous rat-tail, he interrupts the jam session to give some notes. Jocelyn lets him know he isn’t welcome to do that anymore.
“You’re gonna kick out your only source of inspiration?” Tedros jeers. Jocelyn shoots back, “I...

Ask any millennial if they remember Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow, and their reply will probably be:
“Bogieeeessss!”
Once they’ve stopped gleefully screaming the show’s catchphrase, they’ll tell you it was a weekend kids’ TV programme on the BBC presented by Richard ‘Dick’ McCourt and Dominic Wood – aka comedy duo Dick and Dom – and it was also pure, unadulterated, I’m-writing-to-Ofcom chaos.
Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow – whose name was a parody of the Sacha Baron Cohen film Ali G InDaHouse – aired between 2002 and 2006. It became a cult hit with kids and students alike, thanks to its puerile humour, its complete absurdity (once a cat randomly appeared and sang a song about Stoke-on-Trent) and the fact that Dick and Dom seemed to be having the absolute time of their lives making total havoc on live TV.
Was there any kind of format to this live mayhem?...

Respected British broadcaster Clive Myrie was removed at the last minute from presenting an edition of the BBC’s “News at Ten” last week, according to a report in the U.K.’s Times newspaper.
Myrie was replaced by Jane Hill as the news bulletin presenter on June 16 because BBC chief content officer Charlotte Moore had impartiality concerns regarding the ruling Conservative party, per the Times. Earlier that evening, Myrie had hosted the BBC’s “Have I Got News For You,” a satirical comedy quiz show that grills celebrity contestants on the week’s top stories and news, where he made several jokes about former Prime Minister Boris Johnson who had been found guilty of deliberately misleading the U.K. parliament over the ‘partygate’ scandal.

This story about Elle Fanning and “The Great” first appeared in the Comedy Series issue of TheWrap’s awards magazine.
There’s a scene in Episode 4 of the third season of Tony McNamara’s “The Great” in which Elle Fanning’s Catherine the Great has a huge argument with her husband, the deposed Russian Emperor Peter III, over his delight at the fact that their son’s first word is pussy. After the shouting is over, Catherine storms into an empty room, throws back her head and screams at the top of her lungs — and the camera, hovering above her, has a perfect view directly down her throat to an unnerving depth.
“We were all laughing after that shot, and Tony was like, ‘We basically saw inside your body,’” Fanning said with a grin. “It was not an attractive shot, but we don’t care about looking attractive on this show.

The Iron Man star nearly played the role 20 years ago in Fantastic Four. Will the movie’s reboot see the latest ‘almost was’ become an ‘is’, following Nicolas Cage’s Superman?
It’s probably not giving too much away about the forthcoming, hyped-to-the-ether Flash movie to reveal that it plays heavily, and with great joy, on famous “almost were” castings as it delves into the multiverse. Warner Bros/DC has already confirmed that Nicolas Cage will appear briefly as Superman in Andy Muschietti’s comic book epic.

Hulu announced its forthcoming “Mastermind” docuseries based on the life of nurse and longtime FBI consultant Dr. Ann Burgess on Friday.

Taylor Swift has officially launched her highly-anticipated stadium tour, The Eras Tour. The sold-out tour is not only massive in venue size and demand, but also in the length of its setlist. For The Eras Tour, Swift performs 44 songs over the course of three hours. Even though The Eras Tour covers 10 studio albums, Swift performs the least amount of songs from her albums Taylor Swift and Speak Now. Here’s why Swift might have purposefully left songs from Speak Now and Taylor Swift off her tour setlist.

Taylor Swift has no fewer than four new albums — Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights — to cover in the Eras Tour, which was both an opportunity and a major challenge. It wasn’t hard to imagine that she’d end up sidelining the quieter material of Folklore and Evermore in favor of her stadium-shaking pop hits, but instead, she pretty much plays everything, every night.

The anticipation for opening night was so great that Glendale changed its name to Swift City for March 17-18.
Late last year, the high demand for tickets to the Eras Tour broke the distribution company Ticketmaster’s website. Swift addressed this, acknowledging that it took her 70,000 fans “a considerable amount of effort” to attend the opening concert.
Swift began the show with the Lover (2019) era, opening with “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince” and performing “Cruel Summer” live for the very first time.
After singing songs from Evermore (2020), Swift asked the audience, “Is it just me or do we have a lot to catch up on?”, in reference to this tour being her first since 2018.

Surprise! Ahead of her very, very, very sold-out Eras worldwide tour, which kicks off in Glendale, Arizona, this weekend, Taylor Swift has presented us with four previously unreleased songs from her discography. So while we’re sobbing at home on show night with only an old Swiftie merch tee to wipe away our tears because we couldn’t bag tickets, we at least have some new music to cry to.
Three of the four titles to have been released come from the singer’s re-recorded projects, meaning you can now happily listen to “Eyes Open”, “Safe and Sound”, and “If This Was A Movie” on Spotify in the knowledge that you’re not contributing to Scooter Braun’s bank account. But most of the attention is on “All of the Girls You Loved Before”, a track that was initially recorded for 2019’s Lover. It didn’t make the final cut on the album,...

The actor on her latest role as Crossroads doyenne Noele Gordon, watching Woody Allen fire people, and the key to understanding Princess Margaret
Helena Bonham Carter thinks that, at 56, she is being offered some of the richest parts of her long, storied career. The British actor is talking about Netflix’s The Crown, in which she played Princess Margaret in seasons three and four, and the forthcoming Nolly on Itvx. This three-part drama is the creation of Russell T Davies (It’s a Sin), and sees Bonham Carter take on the role of Noele Gordon (Aka Nolly), who played Meg Mortimer, the matriarch of the British soap opera Crossroads, until she was unceremoniously fired in 1981 after 17 years on the show. Bonham Carter lives in London with her partner, art historian Rye Dag Holmboe, and her two children.
Are you going to tell us that you were a diehard Crossroads fan and admirer of Noele Gordon?...

Taylor Swift’s fans are convinced her newly released “Lavender Haze” music video contains a subtle yet intentional Joe Alwyn Easter egg.
An early scene in the Grammy-winning artist’s music video, showing a vinyl cover with a printed image of a Pisces and Sagittarius constellation, has gone viral on Twitter.
Many Swifties have noted the Sagittarius symbol corresponds with Swift’s birthday (13 December), while the Pisces refers to her boyfriend Alwyn’s birthday (21 February).
“Joe is a Pisces and Taylor is a Sagittarius… what if I told you Taylor’s a mastermind,” one explained.
A second commented: “They appear on a vinyl cover of Mastermind which has lyrics mentioning stars aligning.”
“And the fish in space!! Pisces = the fish of the zodiac,” a third added.
Another went further with the theory, tweeting: “Wait hold up... how am I just realising this.
“There is exactly 13 months between Dec 1989 and Feb...
