- There is one scene emphasizing kissing, though in a horror context with lots of green slime.

- The "blood" of the ghostly inhabitants of the town of Long Hand is a prominently featured green ooze; when anyone (or any object) in the town is damaged or "wounded," they bleed green.
- This leads to many over the top images, such as a doorman vomiting copious amounts of this ooze before dissolving into a puddle himself, and the children slicing up walls and various objects in a room to test their ghostly nature.
- The effects are VERY dated looking (even for the time of release) as the movie was very low budget.

- I only found it to be mild on either.
- While this movie comes in some Family Pack DVD bundles, it doesn't come across like a traditional "family movie."
- The green ooze that pervades the town of Long Hand is used in the film to create an intangible feeling of paranoia, something like a fear of the dark; everyone and everything and every object could share the same ghostly nature.
- There are also a few monstrous figures, like a book that grows spider legs, tentacles reaching out of the dark, or a bug-eyed, insect-like gunman.
- However, the extremely dated effects will probably prevent anyone aside from very young children from being truly frightened by any of the images or ideas.
