Question: Will Once Upon a Time pick up right where they left off in the finale (like, is it the next day after Jekyll and Hyde come to town)? Or will there be a few weeks where the town is normal — the “calm before the storm,” so to speak? — Shannon
Ausiello: The answer is A) not the next day nor B) weeks later but C), Season 6 will open just moments after Hyde arrived in Storybrooke and ominously greeted Regina.

The age of the TV anti-hero may be drawing to a close, but the TV anti-heroine is just getting started.
This week, as we welcome back Piper Chapman and her fellow prison inmates (with binge-viewers catching up with the third-season launch of Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black" last Friday), and as we're introduced to Ani Bezzerides -- Rachel McAdams new morally ambiguous cop on Season 2 of HBO's "True Detective," debuting this Sunday -- TV viewers are becoming fully invested in dramas whose female leads are every bit as complicated, fascinating, charismatic, dangerous, and messily human as the Don Drapers and Tony Sopranos of the recent past.
The end of "Mad Men" last month seemed to mark the end of an era, and not just the 1960s as

Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee in the hot tub with Gary Busey; Helen Flanagan weeping relentlessly in the Diary Room; and David McIntosh parading around in Those short shorts.... the possibilities for this series of Celebrity Big Brother are endless.
So, as we eagerly await for the mystery(ish) celebrity guests to enter the famous house in Elstree, we've decided to reminisce with our favourite ever star contestants below:
1. Jackie Stallone
"Yeah, Jackie," were the only two words uttered from the side of Jackie's heavily siliconed mouth as she entered the house, draped in fur and dripping in jewels. Her entrance soon became one of the most memorable moments from the entire series.
It was part-Jackie's presence, part-Jackie's face that really shocked Brigitte Nielsen back on the show in 2005 when her former mother-in-law entered the house on day five.
Fellow housemates had to refer to Jackie as the Queen Mother,...

If Friday night's Strictly was a tasty starter, then this evening's extended edition is a mouth-watering main course, brimming with glitter, tassels and the slightly scary prospect of a Vanessa Feltz cha cha cha.
Eight fresh celebrities will be hitting the dancefloor for the first time this evening. We can probably expect some early signs of brilliance from a couple of twinkle-toed celebrities, but we should probably also brace ourselves to watch through our fingers as some famous faces display their two left feet.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight (September 28) at 7pm on BBC One. Join Digital Spy for all the action as it happens.
20:26We'll be back here for more live-blogging next Saturday and the first celebrity will get the boot next weekend as well. Julien, Vanessa and Tony could all be in trouble. Abbey, Natalie, Patrick and Susanna look like the early frontrunners. But that could easily change fast.

Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer James Jordan has expressed early concerns about his celebrity partner Vanessa Feltz, describing her as a "total non-dancer".
Watch Vanessa's first days in training:
"Vanessa is a total non-dancer. That was very evident," said Jordan. "She has no idea what she's doing.
"We have to relay from her brain to her feet. That's what we're struggling with at the moment."
Feltz appears to have a different opinion of her progress, commenting: "I think I'm in the zone. I think by the end of the week, James will be amazed."
Strictly returns on Saturday, September 28 on BBC One.

Vanessa Feltz is reportedly planning to sign up to Strictly Come Dancing.
The former chatshow host is said to hope that taking part in the show will help her get fit and lose weight.
A BBC source is quoted by The Sun as saying: "Vanessa will be fabulous. She is lots of fun and always up for being outrageous, which is just what Strictly needs.
"She has had her problems with her weight in the past so this is a brilliant way for her to get fit and have a laugh at the same time."
Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Abbey Clancy are also said to have signed up to compete in the latest series of Strictly.
Teri Hatcher and Hairy Bikers cook Dave Myers are among the other names linked with a spot in the lineup.
Peter Andre and Jls singer Jb Gill have turned down the chance to take part.

The Oranges sees the very promising and rather unlikely pairing of Hugh Laurie (House) and Leighton Meester (Gossip Girls) in the leading roles.
We caught the excellent first trailer back in the summer, and with an all-star cast led by Laurie and Meester, it’s naturally been one to look forward to this year.
The film was released in the Us back in October, and will be released in UK theatres this Friday, and we’ve been given an exclusive new clip from the film to share.

Chicago – “The Oranges” suffers from a common problem in these suburban comedies of error in that it assumes we care about these characters who are essentially less interesting than your actual neighbors. Infidelity, bad parenting, friendships collapsing – they’re happening every day on your street. Films like “The Oranges” may think they’re tapping a vein of picket fence peculiarity like “American Beauty” but the result actually plays more like a Showtime sitcom pilot that never got picked up because it was too boring to maintain week to week.
Vanessa Walling (Alia Shawkat) narrates the tale of the once-close dynamic between her family, including mom Paige (Catherine Keener), brother Toby (Adam Brody), and dad David (Hugh Laurie), and that of the family that lives across the street, the Ostroffs – Terry (Oliver Platt), Cathy (Allison Janney), and daughter Nina (Leighton Meester). We’re going to nominate this as the picture of the year! Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Centrepoint’s Camberwell Foyer yesterday, of which they’re both patrons. Serious hi jinks ensued with a 18 year old Vanessa Boeteng, who lives at Centrepoint. When the Prince asked her if he, “looked dapper in his wedding suit”, her answer got him to bust a move. Boateng said, “Nooooooo… Your swag was on point! He said ‘swag?’ Then we made up this dance. You dust your shoulders off twice.” And that’s the photograph you see, folks. Prince William and his swag dance, with Kate giggling at him. And you ask us why we love them?
The couple also got into aprons and made gingerbread and cookies topped with hundreds and thousands for all the residents. It was also 18 year old Tasha Barbi‘s birthday (she also lives at Centrepoint), and when...

"Whoever wrote the plays is saying we're all equal, we're all foolish and at moments we're all fabulous."
Now Anonymous star Joely Richardson is weighing into the authorship debate surrounding Shakespeare's professed works, with reasons of her own why it might not be Stratford's celebrated son who picked up his quill.
"Shakespeare's daughters were illiterate, and I just can't believe that a literary genius would not impart some of that to his offspring," she explains.
"“That's the one that sticks with me the most. The argument I don't like is the class argument, where people are saying that only a toff could write the plays as opposed to a commoner."
Richardson, impossibly Amazonian and bright-eyed on this bleak Tuesday afternoon in London, believes there is much to enjoy in the film, whatever the authenticity of the works which inspired it:
"I think ultimately it doesn't matter. It's not a documentary.

The Oranges is Hugh Laurie's first live action lead since Maybe Baby, back in 1999. That raises expectations: after all, he can hardly need either the cash or the kudos. But after The Oranges had unpeeled, I had a flashback to just what a turkey Maybe Baby - a fertility comedy scripted by Ben Elton - really was. This film is nowhere near that awful, but it's a reminder that Laurie's eye for a project doesn't necessarily correlate with his standing and talent.
The second feature from British director Julian Farino, now a staple on the La TV scene, it's a sitcom-ish dramedy set in the flush suburb of New Jersey, to which it owes its title. The two families at the film's heart are so close as...

Legendary actor and life-long activist Vanessa Redgrave on bad habits, brother Corin and why the battle for the beleaguered Travellers of Dale Farm matters so much to her
When Corin Redgrave suffered a heart attack while pleading with councillors not to evict Travellers from Dale Farm in Essex in summer 2005, his sister, Vanessa, was thousands of miles away in the Us. "If it wasn't for a Traveller giving him mouth to mouth, he would have died," she says. "As it was he had such loss of oxygen to his brain that he had extreme short-term memory loss. Forty Travellers came to the Basildon hospital to pray for him."
So is her current support for the Travellers due to be evicted from Dale Farm later this month to honour her dead brother? "Oh very, very, very much so. The Dale Farm Travellers are inseparable from him for me. It's totally personal.

As rumours have been flying over the release, or non release, of Towie’s Joey Essex’s first single and launch of what looked like it could be a somewhat successful pop career, I decided to go behind the scenes and see if I could set the record straight. To do this, I spoke to Ben ofoedu, of Phats and Small fame, about the single which he wrote for the Only Way Is Essex star.
Ben shot to fame with the hit British dance group and ever since has been behind the scenes of the music industry, writing hits for other artists, as well as co presenting The Vanessa Show with famous fiancee, Vanessa Feltz.
His latest project has been creating what he hopes will be – if released – one of the years biggest hits. Titled Reem, the dance track is intended to be released by one of the years biggest reality stars,...

Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of meeting Josie Gibson, when I appeared as a sofa surfer on Channel 5′s Vanessa Show.
The shows topics were about food intolerances and playing games in relationships, a subject which was quite raw for reality show star and Big Brother winner, who has just split from her fellow Big Brother contestant, John James Parton.
When asked if she thought that games in relationships worked, Josie responded by saying that in her opinion it is always best to be yourself as you should always give your heart to someone who accepts you for exactly who you are.
As always, the staff at the studio and of course Vanessa Feltz and partner and co presenter, Ben Ofoedu, were wonderful company for the afternoon, and having Josie there too seemed to double the enjoyment as she displayed her addictive ability to light up the room with her lovely,...

Vanessa Feltz has admitted that she would like to see former Big Brother winner Josie Gibson, fronting a new series of the reality TV show.
The portly TV presenter has just launched her own chat show on Five, a channel which is said to be close to agreeing a deal with Endemol to air Bb this summer.
When asked if she would like to step into Davina McCall’s shoes and present the TV comeback of the year, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant told Now:
‘Obviously, I would be delighted.’
‘But I would be amazed if they chose someone like me.’
‘I would think they would want someone like Josie Gibson, she would be brilliant,’ Vanessa added.
‘She’s superb.
‘She could be the next Alison Hammond.’

Vanessa Feltz has been accused of bullying a student who was doing work experience on her BBC London show. Beverley Nesbit, 19, claims that she was reduced to tears after a series of incidents involving the presenter in July. She secured the post after winning a £120 bid arranged by Feltz's daughter Saskia Kurer at a university charity event. "I basically paid to be abused by Vanessa Feltz for a week," she told the Daily Mail. "Vanessa was really brash, not like the bubbly person you see on television, but in a rude and arrogant way. She barely acknowledged me, and when she did she said everything I had done was rubbish." Recalling one incident, Nesbit said: "Vanessa turned to me and said, 'Beverley, which is your favourite poem by Yeats?' I'm not a stupid (more)...

It's been a while since "One Tree Hill" fans have heard new music from Haley James Scott (Bethany Joy Galeotti), but we'll be treated to a special performance on Tuesday's crossover event with "Life Unexpected."
When Haley and Mia (Kate Voegele) take a trip to Portland to perform at the Sugar Magnolia festival that Cate's (Shiri Appleby) radio station is promoting, CW worlds collide.
Though Haley is initially reluctant to take the stage, her hesitation is short-lived after Mia announces her.
"Life Unexpected" executive producer Liz Tigelaar also had a brief a moment of hesitation when the idea of a crossover was first presented to her. "I wasn't sure how it'd work," she told Zap2it when we stopped by the set to watch the "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill" stars take the stage. "I didn't want it to be cheesy, and I'm sure [the "One Tree Hill" team] didn't want it to be cheesy.

A member of London band, The Ruskins, has reportedly been arrested after jumping the security barrier and trying to make it onto the Big brother stage last night.
As Vanessa Feltz conducted her exit interview with Davina McCall, a man dressed in red tried to make it up beside her, before being wrestled to the ground by security guards.
You can see the video of the incident here.
The stage invasion turned out to be a planned one. A message went out on the bands Twitter and Facebook pages on Monday saying:
‘Guess who’s going to bandjack Big Brother this Wednesday??‘

Update: It Turns Out That Vanessa’S Admirer Was A Member Of The Ruskins. More Details Here.
The most entertaining part of tonight’s Big brother eviction show, was the part when a fan tried to jump onto the stage – right in the middle of Vanessa Feltz’s exit interview.
We were yawning our way through the highly predictable question and answer session, when suddenly Davina leapt out of her seat and reached past Feltz. It was like a scene out of the Bodyguard movie!
In the background we could see a young man (well it looked like a man) dressed in red, jumping the security barrier before being pushed to the ground by two burly guards.
Davina sat back down and breathlessly exclaimed:
I thought he’d fallen off but actually, round of applause, this man was making a break to give you a hug. You have a crazed...

Vanessa Feltz has become the fifth person to be evicted from Ultimate Big Brother, with 31.3% of the vote.
After only five nights in the Bb house, Feltz followed Michelle Bass in this evening’s double eviction.
Most famous for her Celebrity Big Brother meltdown, Vanessa held it together pretty well since she returned as Victor’s bride last week and the newly gastric banded star emerged to a supportive and cheering crowd tonight.
Vanessa will be remembered for her late entrance dressed as a bride, hosting the Feltz Show questioning Preston and Chantelle directly about their relationship and reducing Chantelle to tears, having heart to hearts with Nikki, leading the Housemates in the street dance troupe Flawed.
The rest of the Ultimate Housemates have made it to the final of Ultimate Big Brother and the winner will be announced in the last ever Big Brother programme, this Friday on Channel 4 from 7.30pm.

10.45am
Brain, Chantelle and Ulrika are in the bedroom. Ulrika talks about her eyebrows and says that they are on their own secret task. Chantelle asks them if they think they are going to nominate today. Brain suspects it will be a vote to evict until Wednesday and then a vote to win after that.
The other housemates are in the kitchen talking about the MP expenses scandal. Victor says that MPs have grown up with a sense of entitlement and that he thought that you claimed expenses for things like travelling to work not buying food for the house. Vanessa asks Nikki if she is involved in such issues. Nikki says that she is a little bit and that she doesn’t like paying any taxes. Vanessa says that you have to pay taxes to earn and save money and even when you die.

Vanessa Feltz’s husband has revealed that he thinks his wife can avoid a breakdown during her return to Big Brother.
The TV presenter famously suffered a meltdown on Celebrity Bb one, which saw her ranting and furiously scrawling strange messages all over the kitchen table. Many had speculated that Vanessa may not be able to cope after she re-entered the house last night. However her hubby Ben Ofoedu says that she was going through a difficult time in her life in 2001 and insists that Feltz is a much stronger person now.
He told The Express:
“Last time she was on the show she had a very public breakdown and there is always that fear it could happen again.
“She doesn’t like to be away from friends and family and I hope we don’t see a repeat of nine years ago but she is a much stronger person now.

Vanessa Feltz is reportedly planning to re-enter the Big Brother house tonight, despite the fact that she suffered a breakdown when she first appeared on the reality TV show.
The 48 year old TV presenter starred in the first Celebrity Big Brother series in 2001 and being imprisoned for a few weeks led to her suffering a bit of a meltdown and scrawling nonsense on the dining table.
However, it has been reported that Feltz now intends to return for the Ultimate Big Brother contest, which will see former Bb stars competing for the title of ‘Ultimate Housemate.’

In 2009, the number of leading lesbian characters on primetime broadcast TV doubled — from one to two.
Out of the estimated 600 lead and supporting characters on network TV, seven of them of are lesbian or bisexual. And of those seven, five of them kissed women last year. And of those five, three of them made out during Sweeps.
Things looked bleak at the beginning of the year, but with the growing trend of lesbian brides getting gunned down or cheating on their wedding days, and the continued trend of bisexual characters only expressing their same-sex attraction during Sweeps, and the loss of Showtime's lesbian drama The L Word, we're ending the year on a downward spiral in terms of lesbian visibility.

Joely Richardson is immersing herself in her craft after the sudden death of her older sister, Natasha. The actress, 44, said her final goodbyes to her sister Sunday. On Thursday, she was back on the London set of her latest project, a remake of The Day of the Triffids, a rep for Richardson confirms to People. Filming is due to wrap up next month. Joely plays the lead female role of opposite Dougray Scott in the two-part sci-fi drama based on John Wyndham's novel. The series also stars the Richardsons' mother, Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave, who had already finished filming her role before the tragedy.
