As a whole is enjoyable

A two-reel number, produced by H.L. Solter, with Florence Lawrence and Matt Moore in the leads. P. Standing plays the villain. He employs his servant to hypnotize Flo and command her to procure the papers from her father's safe. She learns to resist the hypnotic influence and surprises the plotters at the end. The first hypnotic scene was particularly well staged. The production as a whole is enjoyable. - The Moving Picture World, May 23, 1914
