Better than you'd think
Leofwine_draca3 November 2022
Well, this is something different - a homegrown action thriller from Trinidad and Tobago, no less! The hero of the hour is Joe Cameron, an upstanding and kung fu fighting cop who finds himself in hot water when the local underworld come gunning for him. They begin to fabricate evidence and in a bid to clear his name he goes after them, guns and feet blazing. Now, to enjoy this one you need to be in the right charitable mood because it's been made on a tiny budget. Most of it was filmed on the street and the cast hardly give polished performances. At the same time it has a lot of heart, some action and a solid pace, so it's not all bad.

Very good little thriller
cbarr-329 June 2000
I once owned a house on Sint Maarten and this little movie brought back fond memories. It captures the spirit of the Caribbean quite well. It was shot on Trinidad and has the feel of a local production. The plot is nothing special, but the execution is wonderfully atmospheric. The characters are interesting; the acting, quite good.

This is an old fashioned film that tells an interesting story about interesting people. That is all it tries to do. And it does it very well.

Producer G. Anthony Joseph Gets the most bang for his buck!

This is a far better film than many I've seen w/ budgets 100 times larger. Producer/Actor G. Anthony Joseph gives an excellent performance (his martial arts skills are awesome!) AND gets the most bang for his buck. To make a feature this good for under $40K is incredible! Catch it Showtime!
