In honor of Thanksgiving, Uma Thurman took to Instagram to wish all her followers a happy and healthy Thanksgiving Weekend – all except one: Harvey Weinstein.
Earlier this month, Thurman made the headlines when a red carpet interview went viral. Visibly shaking with anger, the Kill Bill actress addressed the sexual harassment and abuse accusations festering within Hollywood and chose her words carefully: “When I’m ready, I’ll say what I have to say.” It appears that day is now very, very close.
Thurman’s latest Instagram post ended with a “stay tuned,” indicating that she’s ready to come forward with fresh allegations against Harvey Weinstein, whom she worked under for Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. Her full post can be viewed below, and, well, let’s just say that Uma Thurman isn’t fucking around.

Oliver Queen is “smiling a lot more” in Season 6 of The CW’s Arrow. And so, in turn, is series star Stephen Amell.

Fox’s new supernatural comedy, Ghosted, aired its first episode this past weekend and I have some good things and some not so good things to say about it. It definitely had some bright spots but it also seemed like there was something missing from the pilot episode. Hear me out or should I say read me out?
The series stars Adam Scott (Big Little Lies, Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later) and Craig Robinson (This is the End, Hot Tub Time Machine) as former professor Max Jennifer and former detective Leroy Wright. The two are brought into the Bureau Underground, a secret government agency that specializes in paranormal and supernatural occurrences, to solve the mystery of an agent that has gone missing.
Overall, the casting is great. You have Adam Scott and Craig Robinson who make a great duo to center just about any type of comedy around.

Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) might be the Three-Eyed Raven now, but he’s still working out the kinks in his new role. He may have access to every event that has happened and is currently happening in his mind, but that doesn’t mean he actually has absorbed this information yet.
In this past season of “Game of Thrones,” Bran only knew part of the secret of Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) parentage, that he’s actually the son of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen (Wilf Scolding) and Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi). But it was Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) who informed Bran that Rhaegar and Lyanna were secretly married, which makes Jon the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne and not a bastard after all. Only after hearing that did Bran mystically visit that point in history to confirm the event.

Alexander Wang’s adult abode is as stylish as the fashion designer himself — no ifs, ands, or horse butts about it.
“This is my favorite piece and really gives you the first impression of the apartment and what you’re getting into,” Wang tells Architectural Digest of a black-and-white print of an equine backside that greets those who enter his New York City house.
Derrieres aside, Wang’s goal for his West Chelsea digs was to have a more refined feel. “It was time for a grown-up apartment that had a view, separate rooms, and a little outdoor space,” he says.

Pat Healy’s Take Me is a wild card – but what else would you expect from a man whose performances are just as unpredictable? It’s a nifty little whodunnit that’s loads of fun, given how every action remains in question. Writer Mike Makowsky keeps details simple, but still finds a way to manipulate characters with the help of Healy’s vision. You’d expect something a little more tense, but oddly good-natured goofs represent tonal comfort. Frankly, this shouldn’t work. A who’s-playing-who “thriller” that bumbles along to an oboe score? Like a cartoon might? Consider this one a not-so-criminal anomaly.
Healy also stars as the film’s lead character, Ray Moody, who runs a business called Kidnap Solutions that simulates real-life kidnappings for paying customers. Why, you ask? As Ray describes, he loves helping people. Whether you’re trying to kick an eating habit or need the isolation,...

The 400 Blows. Courtesy of ShutterstockFor many directors, casting decisions are a crucial part of the writing process. They set the parameters in which the character can develop itself. Fundamentally, a good casting decision can make a character transcend its own scripted ambitions into wonderful, unexpected territories. But bad casting, as we know, can cripple not just a character’s potential but the entire film. It’s hard to talk about casting choices as creative decisions since they are so ingrained within certain creative impulses—the decision of choosing a particular actor over another can be based on mere gut feeling, a hunch, or an intellectual response. But of course, it can also depend (as it often does in large budget films) on an actor’s status, reputation or his or her monetary value. As we get to know actors, we see them typecast or cast against type but sometimes...

Ana Asensio’s Most Beautiful Island is a stormy, unpredictable endurance test from start-to-finish. At its core, immigration fears and female perspectives sing a plight of New York City’s rough waters. Command and circumstance manipulate those less fortunate, who will do anything to survive. Undocumented “citizens” walk alongside more entitled Americans, yet their experiences are so disconcertingly different. Do they always involve a life-threatening game of chance, as Asensio’s film engages? I would assume – maybe incorrectly – that answer is no. But still, given cinematic context, messages of tenacity are read loud and clear. Strung with tension, and heated to an aggressive boil.
Apart from writing and directing Most Beautiful Island, Asensio also stars as lead subject Luciana – a New Yorker with many responsibilities. Because she’s undocumented, most of Luciana’s work comes from odd-jobs paid in cash. Babysitting bratty kids and whatnot. Either that, or she scams...

Elvis lives in New Orleans!
The Elvis in this case is Elvis Bertrand, a former Navy analyst turned paranoid hacker who is at the center of the murder mystery in NCIS: New Orleans Season 3 Episode 2.
You see, Elvis was the big winner in a floating poker game on the Creole Queen, until he left the cabin for a short time, only to return and become the big loser, as his three fellow players, including Navy Lt. Commander Henry Warbeck, were shot in his absence. Elvis flees, which leads to him becoming the FBI's primary suspect.
Fortunately for Elvis, King Pride has been bailing him out for years, and he knows that Elvis is innocent. So it's a race to see who can find Elvis first, Pride or the FBI.

The 32-year-old actress got personal with James Corden during an appearance on The Late Late Show Monday night, explaining that although the That '70s Show pals kept in touch after the show wrapped, it wasn't until they were both single and ran into one another at an awards show that Kunis started feeling something more toward the 38-year-old actor. "That moment that you hear or see in movies when your heart skips a beat?...

While Mila Kunis is used to the attention that comes with being a celebrity, she maintains that ex Macaulay Culkin has to deal with a much different - and more intense - breed of fame. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday, the Bad Moms star told the host that during her eight-year relationship with the Home Alone star, she watched him encounter "abnormal" fans. "He was huge so you couldn't walk down the street with him," she explained of the early years of their romance, which began in 2001. "He always had this weird [attraction]; fans would just scream...

Ramsay Bolton is a terrible person. There’s no simpler way to say it. He’s just awful in so many ways. And no person thinks less of the Game of Thrones character than the man who plays him, Iwan Rheon. In an interview on the British talk show This Morning, Rheon admits that Bolton is not only horrible, but he deserves a grizzly, miserable death. “I think he’s got it coming. He deserves it,” Rheon said. When asked how he’d like to perish, the Welsh-born actor said, “I’d quite like a dragon-related death in some brutal dragon encounter, fighting a dragon and losing.” Considering all the people that Bolton has wronged, that almost seems to glamorous. Something more like Julius Caesar, where everyone gets a crack at him, seems more appropriate. There are only five more chances for Bolton to get whacked this season. Here’s hoping it happens soon.

The Avengers and Mission: Impossible star is famous not only for blockbusters but also as a great character actor. And then there’s the interior design
Jeremy Renner strides into the hotel room, shakes my hand (“Hey buddy”) and winces. It’s the air conditioning. Too cold. He goes over to the window and opens it. The curtains billow. Too breezy. While the publicist fixes the temperature, Renner sits down opposite me, crossing his arms and legs to keep himself warm. A good room, he says, is one where you would feel happy strolling around naked. A place in which to literally hang out. “That’s the idea. You’ve got to feel at ease.” Does this room fit the bill? He gazes around. “It might be a little big for my taste. I like a boutiquey feel. I go with emotion and instinct. How do we give each room its own beautiful energy?...

For six years, Jason Isbell was drunk at every show he played. During his tenure with beloved Southern rockers Drive-By Truckers, Isbell planned his drinking to keep him on his feet for the duration of the band's marathon live shows - barely. "I had it timed where, by the very end of the show, I'd done just about all I could do standing up," he told NPR in 2013. "I knew I needed two or three before I went on, and then during the show, we'd just pass a bottle around between the band." The routine totaled about a fifth of Jack Daniels per show.

Earlier this week came quotes from an interview with "Mad Max: Fury Road" director George Miller who seemed to suggest he was done with the franchise and had no plans to direct any further films in the series.
The quote seemed strange. Miller had previously expressed desire to shoot another and much smaller film first before returning to the 'Max' franchise - but seemed to want to continue it and had already developed story ideas. Today, Miller has spoken with The Wrap and clarified the previous statement which he says was a straight up misquoting:
"That was a completely garbled interview. I was in New York and it was so noisy and the journalist was asking me questions on a red carpet at the National Board of Review/ She completely got the wrong fragments of information that were just not true. I said no, [another 'Mad Max' movie] will not be next,...

Filmmaker George Miller seems to have a better idea of his plans for the next film in the "Mad Max" series, telling EW's Sirius satellite radio program this week that he's got a storyline and has talked about the film with the studio.
However, he also confirms he wants to do a smaller, quicker project first that's nowhere near as demanding:
"Yes, I have [zeroed in on the storyline for the sequel]. And certainly [I'm] having conversations about it [with the studio]. But I'm not sure if it's the very next movie I want to do. I've got something a bit smaller before we go back out into the wasteland - something that's contemporary that we can get through fairly quickly. And something with not too much technical difficulty. Something more performance-based and so on, just to clear the exhaust."

Charlize Theron's Furiosa was one of my favorite characters in Mad Max: Fury Road. I really hope that won't be the last we see of her. After the success of the first film, we all knew that one day we'd get another sequel, but will that sequel include Furiosa? We know George Miller would like to include her, and it sounds like he's taking steps toward making it happen.
Miller was recent a guest on Entertainment Weekly's Sirius satellite radio program, and while on the show he talked about the popularity of Theron's character and whether or not he'll revisit the character in future Mad Max films. The director confirmed that he's currently in talks with the studio. When asked about a sequel, he said:

Hey, music fans and friends, it's time once again to share my favorite music from 2015.
The songs on my year-end list are not what I consider true "singles" but rather my favorite 25 songs from 2015. I've not heard all the amazing music released this past year, but I do consume a healthy dose of tunes every single day. Below are 13 of those songs with Youtube links if you can't access my Spotify list. Let's proceed, shall we?
1. "Chateau Lobby #4 (in C for Two Virgins)" - Father John Misty - I Love You Honeybear
Former Fleet Foxes drummer Josh Tillman has quickly become my favorite young singer-songwriter. His detail to imagery in both audio and album artwork have very few peers, too. (See image above.)
2. "Rose Mary y Yo" - Carlos Timón - Solar Rapé
Some have said, me included, that this music spins like a Spanish version of Belle & Sebastian meets Jobim!

A belated sequel to an undisputed classic is prematurely announced. Get ready for System Shock 3...
First appearing in 1994 and 1999 respectively, the System Shock games were not only absorbing RPGs, but also great pieces of hard science fiction. Little wonder, then, that they're still so fondly remembered more than 15 years later.
Last month, Night Dive Studios revealed that it was working on an enhanced remake of the original System Shock, with higher-resolution graphics, improved controls and other modern creature comforts. But that wasn't all: the studio also revealed that it had acquired the rights to the entire franchise, with a full-blown remake planned.
Something more intriguing's now emerged: a studio called OtherSide Entertainment has launched a teaser site which, at the time of writing, is counting down to a reveal in around four days' time. But Gamespot has found a separate page that appears to have prematurely published...
