Very amusing comedy
searchanddestroy-13 January 2015
I was amazed by this typical french comedy showing us a second grade manager, a kind of crook, who runs of a star for his country show, and who meets the ringer of a famous comic actor: Fernand Raynaud. What's very funny in this feature is that the same Fernand Raynaud plays here his own character and ringer. Very inventive, riveting for the audiences, I would say exciting. Unfortunately the directing is not at its top. Jean Boyer was not a beginner, but it was also his own trade mark to make such films. Yes, in resume, this film is saved by the storyline, the screenplay. The perfect Saturday night show at the local theatre. Worth seeing for the people craving for entertaining moments. Nothing more.
