  • gore appears by default in the game, but can be turned off in the options menu. if not turned off the fights will end with either the player or enemy getting stabbed with a sword or other weapon, or decapitated. not excessively graphic though.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • some levels in the game might be scary because of their location or situation, e.g dungeons, caves.
  • some creature-like enemies in the game are scary in their appearance.
  • the player must avoid many types of dangerous and scary traps, spike pits, poisonous darts, swinging blades, etc. some traps and trap areas are covered with blood, suggesting that others have died there before.
  • the final level of the game is very intense, as not only must it be completed in a set time limit, but if the player fails to complete it within the time limit a bad ending cut scene sequence will play, where the princess who is chained to a moving gear will get crushed between the gears where you can hear the sound of her body getting crushed and her screaming. the prince then will fall to his knees and begin weeping and crying and Rugnor will sneak up behind him and kill him with his sword off scene.
  • Rugnor laughs after he does this.
