Sins. Secrets. Dirty laundry. Skeletons in the closet. We all have them; even your trusty E! News editors. We'll be taking to this column to confess our pop culture sins of all types. Because even the most pop cultured people can accidentally forget to watch Stranger Things, or find themselves totally lost when it comes to Lost, or, without rhyme or reason, hate Harry Potter. It happens to the best of us, and we know we're not alone with these dirty little secrets. That's exactly why we're sharing them with you (anonymously, that is). This is a safe space, right? Hello from the other side. The sick and twisted side of the population that, no matter how hard we try, cannot seem to get into Adele. That's...

The Legend Of Korra delivers three great episodes to kick start its new season. Here's Kaci's review...
Review
This review contains spoilers.
1.1, 1.2, 1.3 A Breath Of Fresh Air, Rebirth, The Earth Queen
The third season of Legend Of Korra does not hold back in its first three episodes. Life has changed since the Harmonic Convergence and the show wastes no time in throwing us right into the middle of the biggest change of all: namely, that random people all over the world have suddenly gained the ability to airbend, including Bumi.
Tenzin mentions this during the episode, but to reiterate it here: I wish desperately that Aang had lived to see this. Granted, I do not ultimately believe that this turn of events could've taken place had he still been alive; faced with the same choice as Korra, Aang would've almost certainly chose differently than she did, and the outcome would've been entirely different.

This upcoming month, there are two interesting genre titles playing on Fearnet that you should take note of; 'Eden Lake' and 'Dahmer.' Why? Because they both represent early movies for actors that have proved to be outstanding performers in the arts long before they honed their craft. In the case of 'Eden Lake,' the film is fronted by Michael Fassbender, long before he played Magneto in the 'X-Men' films, stole the show in Quentin Tarantino's 'Inglourious Basterds' & played the android David from 'Prometheus' with such cold, calculated perfection. Also, you can catch 'Dahmer,' the bio pic from director David Jacobson, which stars Jeremy Renner in one of his first cinematic lead roles. Now he's an Avenger in the Marvel Universe! So it got me thinking about other examples of successful stars you may have totally forgotten were in genre films.

At the premiere last night of the Will Ferrell–Zach Galifianakis political comedy The Campaign, hosted by the Peggy Siegal Company, we caught up with Jon Hamm and congratulated him on his recent Emmy nomination, then asked if he had much interest in real-life politics. "I'm fairly involved, but I don't like to wear it on my sleeve," he told Vulture. "But I will never run for anything, I can promise you that!" Why not? Skeletons in the closet? At this question, Hamm gestured to Campaign screenwriter Chris Henchy (who's married to Brooke Shields), and confessed all. "My affair with Chris Henchy has not been well-documented over the years, but I think in this day and age, that's probably a good thing," he said. "I don't know. He's a handsome man. He's also married, but so am I." Speaking of same-sex affairs with men named Chris, would Hamm be willing...

Children Of Bodom, the esteemed Finnish Heavy Metal band that features frontman and modern day Guitar Hero Alexi Laiho will release a full album of cover tunes containing 17 impressive remakes of the group’s all-time favorite songs this fall. Titled Skeletons in the Closet, the record will drop on September 22, 2009 via Spinefarm Records / Fontana International.
Long known for employing a lighthearted musical modus operandi despite both a weighty work ethic and no joke dedication to its craft, Children Of Bodom (or Cob) has joined the ranks of the world’s finest heavy music acts over the course of the last decade. In Finland, Children Of Bodom has released three consecutive albums that have debuted at number one on the Finnish album charts and the band's latest album, 2008's Blooddrunk landed at #22 on Billboard’s Top 200. Cob has been recording cover songs since the early days of its career, some expectedly heavy ("Silent Scream" by Slayer,...
