Out of Sight, Out of Mind
boblipton4 April 2014
Florence, her mother and her brother are out of town for a couple of days and Edgar thinks he's in love with another woman. When Florence finds out and pretends she's in love with another man, Edgar gets jealous.

Marital infidelity gets played for laughs in this episode in Kennedy's long-running "Average Man" series, which was made just before the Production Code lowered the boom. It's a good entry in the series, but nowhere near the best as Edgar causes his own troubles as he does so often. Although he was an actor capable of believable comic pathos, he doesn't manage it here. This one is for fans of the series only.
