The director that should know what a movie is!
lionel_laget29 October 2000
This might NOT been seen as cross between "Blair Witch" or "Festen" or whatever! This very-very-very-low budgeter is a lame-brain movie that takes itself - seriously - for a masterpiece. You can just feel it watching it! A movie peopled with bad actors, "lazy" one-liners with an absolutely NON-funny script. Do not tell me about the spoof! Even Ed D. Wood Junior was a more talented director and script-writer! JUST A SHAME! Lack of money is not everything! TALENT is everything!

A movie-in-a-movie movie that loves movies
Phroggy30 October 1999
This might be seen as a cross between "The Blair Witch Project" >and Ferrara's "Snake eyes" in the wake of "Festen", but set for >laughs more than thrills. Meaning this is a no-budgeter, >big-hearted movie set in the world of moviemaking but with a >difference (the little girl director, providing some good >psychological twists). Of course, the movie-within-a-movie is a >fun spoof of gore movies with nods to "The Evil Dead", but >obviously done with great respect for the genre. A few baroque >characters (a "madwoman" considered as a witch, a schizophrenic >clowness) gives a poetic touch to the whole proceeding while the >crew runs the whole gamut from love to hate. There are some very >funny one-liners and, basically, this as a whole is a nice, >refreshing experience. It came out the same day as "The Phantom >Menace"
