Along with "Stories from my Childhood", this series was my introduction to many animated works from Soyuzmultfilm. I used to believe they were the same series, but turns out this was a different, earlier release: The confusion was probably caused due them being simultaneously aired in the same channel back then in the late nineties. "Stories from my childhood" was probably intended as a sequel series.
Before the Youtube age, this was my only chance of seeing such wonderful gems of animation, being almost impossible to find in any other way. That is enough for me to have a high appreciation for this series.
