Back in 1940-45, they called us "Canadian". Wrong! They should have titled that TV series "The story of a French-Canadian" or like the English version title "L'histoire Maurice Rocket Richard", as the word "Quebecers" was not much employed. But the Rocket would have use it in explaining his situation as a french speaking low degree citizen, when he was insulted (frog, pea soup, lousy French) by other team's players, especially in Toronto where he was booed more then anywhere else. Anyway the television series were pretty good and all the actors too. Roy Dupuis is powerful in giving all the punch to series and film as Maurice would have done himself in his own role. Both his women Macha Grenon and Julie LeBreton are super dynamic dealing with such a simple man so great.
