good intentions
Vincentiu4 October 2012
and nothing more. sin of Novel ? sin of adaptation ? I do not know. important is the result - Russian subject in French sauce. a didacticist sauce, almost fake, almost boring, with Claude Rich as a isolated father, few drops of lost of ideals and Tchekov, shadow of expectation and bitter taste. a film about love, traitors, disillusions, all in a large and fragile basket. and nothing more. fundamental sin - the movie has not soul. it is only a sketch of good intentions , a waste adventure, collection of Russian names and clichés. beyond scenes - the small light of subject. and the empty image of a family life in a fictionally East.
