Treats UFO & E.T. presence as established fact, not possibility
vimanaboy27 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
The oddest thing about this documentary, aside from the fact that it was apparently only aired once in 5 states in 1995 before being pulled and squashed, is that it treats the UFO and E.T. presence (including alien abductions) as established fact, right from the first moments. Leading off with: "This is an actual spacecraft from another world, piloted by alien intelligence; one sighting from tens of thousands made over the last 50 years on virtually every continent on the globe. Intelligent life from distant galaxies is now attempting to make open contact with the human race, and tonight we'll show you the evidence."

This documentary was supported at the highest levels of Disney, as it even featured an appearance by CEO Michael Eisner.

The documentary will not prove anything to anyone, but as a piece of propaganda that was unleashed on the American public it is pretty astounding in its implications, whether it was meant to be the beginning of a reveal or some kind of psy-op.

Fact-Based, Straight-Forward History of UFO's in the U.S.
adampford-341456 October 2021
This is not a "pseudo" documentary. A part of the "Disney Special" series with an introduction by Micheal Eisner, this is a fact-based history of UFO's in the U. S. since WWII. The documentary references first-hand sources with interviews from researchers and first-hand witnesses. This was certainly ahead of its time (long before the Pentagon's 2021 disclosures) and is a great introduction to recent UFO history. The movie does promote Tomorrowland but that is not the focus of the movie.

This film was a publicity stunt.

Warning: Spoilers
As someone who worked at Disney/Magic Kingdom/Tomorrowland in the 90's, I know, without a shadow of doubt (and the reason is was only shown once) is that the ENTIRE THING was a publicity stunt to bring attention to the new ride Alien Encounters.

If you look at all the younger people being interviewed? They're all wearing the exact costume that cast members from Alien Encounter wore. Some of the younger, no-name 'witnesses' were actually cast members from Opening Crew.

The ENTIRE thing - every second of it - was publicity for the new attraction.

The only reason it can't be found now, is because Disney maintains control of it and it's locked up in their archives. It was only shown in 5 cities, because they were target cities.

Remember War of the Worlds? Take heed.
