Match #1: Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy) defeated Kip Sabian and Peter Avalon
My Opinion: 3.2 out of 5 – This was luchalicious! Yeah, suck on that Gore Vidal. Listen, there’s some good action here, like when Kip put the moves on Jungle Boy and the latter told the former that his dad just died and he wasn’t ready for love again and Kip said that he’d like to ass him a few questions…I forgot what I was saying. Any-way,...

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and since Aew doesn’t have recaps on their website yet, I’m gonna use their previews to provide some context to the matches being reviewed. It might be a bit weird, but I’ll just change the way I start each review accordingly and it should work out fine. A head of lettuce can get robbed too. Okay, Dynamite starts…yesterday. You already know what happened. They all died. Oh, we’ve got a World Title Match! Holy $#!@!

WarnerMedia, which already airs a healthy amount of sports, with rights to the NBA, Ncaa basketball and golf, is adding wrestling to the mix through a new partnership with All Elite Wrestling.
The two companies said they are forming the first new wrestling circuit to launch in the past 20 years, with primetime broadcasts planned on TNT, streaming via Bleacher Report’s B/R Live as well as select pay-per-view slots. The announcement was made on the morning of WarnerMedia’s upfront presentation to media buyers in New York.
The venture will kick off May 25 with an event in Las Vegas that is dubbed Double or Nothing.
Eschewing what it called the “scripted, soapy drama” of other wrestling on the air (read: the WWE), All Elite is promising “fast-paced, high-impact competitions” with “more athleticism and real sports analytics.”

All Elite Wrestling (Aew) could very soon shake up the world of professional wrestling on television for the first time in years.
It was announced Wednesday that the nascent promotion has signed a deal with WarnerMedia that will see Aew air a weekly wrestling show on TNT primetime beginning later this year. This marks the first time professional wrestling has aired on TNT since the days of WCW, which was bought out by WWE in 2001 after the so-called Monday Night Wars that saw the two companies go head-to-head in the ratings.
Aew’s current talent roster is headlined by members of a group known to fans as The Elite — The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), Kenny Omega, Cody and Brandi Rhodes, and “Hangman” Adam Page. The Young Bucks and Cody are also executive vice presidents at the company, while Brandi is also chief brand officer.

2012 will be the first year that GeekTrant will invade WonderCon, mostly due to the fact that it was moved down to Anaheim, CA this year which is right in our backyard. We're all pretty excited about attending this year, as we've heard it's a much smaller more intimate version of San Diego Comic Con.
WonderCon is set to open on Friday, March 16th and run through Sunday, March 18th at the Anaheim Convention Center. If you plan on attending let us know, and maybe we can meet up and hang out for a bit!
I've put stars next to the panels we are interested in attending. Check out the schedule, and let us know what you are looking forward to seeing most!
Friday March 16th
12:30-1:30 Idw Presents: The Idw Panel!— Chief creative officer Chris Ryall and sergeant of marketing Dirk Wood, give out prizes, make announcements, and evade questions!
