Self defense or no self defense?
searchanddestroy-119 January 2017
A sort of crime comedy TV feature telling the story a judge clerk, played by Bulle Ogier, who improvises a private eye; just for herself, in order to prove that a big executive killed a supposed robber in another way than self defense. It is a script just in "fashion" of the early eighties, a sort of anti-vigilante movie...The clerk tries to help her judge boss to solve the affair. Nothing more, forgettable at the most, but entertaining. Bernard Fresson plays the suspected boss who killed, shot, the supposed robber. Fresson is convincing in this character. The film was partly made in the Paris port, waterfront on the Seine river. Interesting and unusual settings.
