Promising danish movie debut long before the Dogma era
s_lunoe24 May 2003
Exceptional danish movie made long before the Dogma era. Although there are similarities between this movie and say, "Italian for beginners". If you like Jim Jarmusch's movies you'd probably like "Der findes ingen tamme dyr". So be warned, this is no Star Wars or Gladiator glamour movie.

The beginning of this film is in no way extraordinary: a very straightforward story about a young soldier deserting from the army. Slowly things start to turn out desperately wrong for the freaky soldier in this minimalist and humorous film. Pity it's so hard (if not impossible) to find, and that the filmmakers haven't really made anything since this very promising debut.
