On the sixth day of Christmas, Kris Jenner took over.
After five days of sharing parts of the family's Christmas card, Kim Kardashian West passed the baton to her mom, Kris Jenner, who shared an adorable "Day 6" pic on Wednesday.
Kourtney Kardashian and her kids are front and center in the cute snap, with Scott Disick nowhere to be found. Mason, 7, playfully chases his sister, Penelope, 5, in the pic, while Kourtney and Reign, 2, stare off into the distance.
Reign and Mason will turn a year older on Dec. 14, but Reign already celebrated with a sweet joint birthday party with his cousin, Saint West, who turned two on Tuesday.
See the epic pics from their "Monster Mash" party -- complete with sledding, an ice skating rink and two Monsters Inc.-inspired cakes, in the video below.

The team dances on Halloween Night were a lopsided affair on Dancing with the Stars, according to the judges. Team Monster Mash earned a 24 for a very convoluted corn maze routine, and then Team Phantom of the Ballroom got a perfect score for their traditional dance. Much like that bowl of assorted candy you’ll be offering to trick-or-treaters Tuesday night, Dancing With the Stars‘ Halloween episode was a mixed bag.
Though some celebrities’ performances were scary good, others had me watching through my fingers for fear that a massive misstep was just around the corner. (And in the case of Drew Scott and Emma Slater, it was. Curse you, slippery special-effects fog!)
But the evening’s biggest scare didn’t come from a dance; it came from host Tom Bergeron, who revealed in the final seconds of the broadcast that there would be a double elimination,...

Jimmy Fallon loves interacting with his audience and he took them for quite a spin on Tuesday night!
During a Freestylin’ with The Roots segment, Lin-Manuel Miranda came on stage to spit some rhymes in a surprise appearance.

“Charming” is not often a word associated with horror films; it’s counterintuitive to what the genre usually stands for—you know, terror and tension, followed by release and a sense of ease, then repeat—but yet here we are with a romantic tale about a boy, a girl, a teleportation device, and the insect that comes between them. Welcome to the world of The Fly (1958), where the hosts are welcoming, the police polite, and the monster bug-eyed.
Released by Twentieth Century Fox in July, The Fly pulled in $7 million against its $300,000 budget, enticing audiences with a tale often told at the time—sold as another Atomic Age Monster Mash, The Fly instead uses a much smaller (and human) canvas to convey a message of obsession and the love that ultimately ends it. Having said that, you also get a man with a fly head and some neat-o transportation sequences,...

Future installments will feature the Bride of Frankenstein, the Invisible Man, and other popular monster movie stars, while bringing back characters introduced in The Mummy. As if one monster-themed universe wasn't enough, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Entertainment are also bringing together King Kong, Godzilla and a long list of other characters for their own crossover franchise dubbed the MonsterVerse. Sensing a trend here? Monster mash-ups are all the rage now in Hollywood, but it's not like they're a new thing. Universal and other...

Alex Kurtzman knows his way around a franchise. The writer-director-producer had a hand in creating million-dollar tentpoles out of Transformers and Star Trek, in addition to scripting the second installment in The Amazing Spider-Man series. With his latest, a reboot of The Mummy starring Tom Cruise, he hopes to not only resurrect the iconic bandaged baddie, but spawn an entire cinematic universe of Universal Monster movies, to be known as the Dark Universe.
"It's like childbirth," Kurtzman told Et of the anticipation he feels over fans finally being able to see his take on The Mummy (in theaters now). "The head is crowning, so you're just waiting for the whole world to see your child. It's exciting! It's been a long journey."

On the surface, Adam Wingard and “Godzilla vs. Kong” are a match made in heaven. King Kong has proven himself a surprisingly elastic movie monster since he first hit the screen in the early 1930’s. The character, a giant ape that once ruled the primordial kingdom of Skull Island, has been at the center of a series of sequels, spin-offs, remakes (most recently by Peter Jackson) and theme park attractions. Mileage may vary in terms of your enjoyment of the films beyond the hallowed original (especially if you have an allergy to giant monsters wrestling each other), but it’s undeniable that the most successful films in the franchise are the ones that combine genuine, gee-whiz craftsmanship with rich metaphoric undercurrents.

The shared universes that are usually hogging the headlines these days are none other than that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe. These are, after all, living universes currently made up of several films. Audiences have some kind of basis on which to make their opinions. The Universal Monsters Universe is a different beast. We have little knowledge as to their overall approach, and we have little idea as to how expansive it’ll be in time and locations.
On deck so far is The Mummy reboot, starring Tom Cruise and a gender-swapped Mummy in the form of Sofia Boutella. The Invisible Man is set to be played by Johnny Depp, and even Russell Crowe is getting in on the action as Dr. Jekyll. The potential for greatness is huge, but as with any huge undertaking, so is the potential for failure.

Halloween decorating is a serious business for my family. It started with my father pretending he was a Halloween prop on our porch and has since evolved into more elaborate decorations, lighting, and sound, making my family's home a must-see stop for trick-or-treaters every October 31st.
With the haunting season upon us once again, it's that time of year to embrace the horrors of home ownership and transform the usually friendly exteriors of our houses into frightening facades. While there are many ways to give the outside of your home a macabre makeover, one of the most important elements in creating a creepy attraction is lighting. Through my experiences scaring the neighbors over the years, I've put together a list of tips on the most efficient ways to use lighting and add in some new technology to your Halloween setup this year.

Every Halloween, Robert George Pickett rises from the grave. (Figuratively.)
The song that made Pickett famous (three times over), “Monster Mash,” spikes to 40 times its regular view and search volume on YouTube every Halloween, and with good reason. It is a uniquely ripe piece of American cheese, a novelty hit that stands among the best of a decade packed with them, and Pickett’s life — and dogged attempts to keep grabbing the brass ring he glimpsed with the song — represent a uniquely American story.
Pickett was in born in Somerville, Massachusetts, in 1938, right in the middle of Universal Studios’ reign atop the horror movie industry.

Halloween is now the second-biggest consumer-spending holiday in the Us (after Christmas), which makes you wonder—how did a holiday based on dressing up and being scary achieve not only massive national appeal, but now international demand (yep, the Americanized version of Halloween has been successfully exported to countries around the globe)?
The American version of Halloween has an interesting evolution. Early Puritan settlers were staunchly against Halloween and considered it far too dark and devilish. However, throughout the 19th century, immigrants from Ireland and Scotland introduced the States to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samhain), which involved wearing scary costumes and lighting fires to scare away tormenting spirits.
Being the “melting pot” that is the Us, Halloween became a mix of traditions from Samhain and the Christian “All Saints’ Day,” when Saints are honored and people gather to pray for the recently departed.

I’ve taken part in outdoor Halloween decorating nearly as long as I’ve been alive, but it’s only over the last five years or so that I’ve been having Halloween parties with friends and family. Every year, it gets a little more elaborate, and I’ve learned a lot about what to do (and what not to do) along the way. Here are my tips and tricks for your upcoming Halloween party:
