This was heavily restored...and I'd like to see the original if it still exists

"They All Fall" is a comedy short that was recently restored. And, as I watched I assumed that much of the original film was missing and was filled in my new intertitle cards. Some of the cards, oddly, did NOT sound at all like they were from 1925 and I cannot repeat them, as IMDB would likely not approve this review for the cards' use of the word dumb@$$...a decidely un-1925 sort of word!

The story finds Oliver Hardy the manager of a theater where Bobby Ray is the idiot janitor. After a bit, Hardy leaves to get his fiancee so they can get married and they leave with another couple who also want to get married. Who this other couple is and why they are going along is unclear...most likely because that part of the film is probably missing. However, Oliver and his bride cannot marry as Bobby somehow picked up the marriage license and a chase ensues.

This is a mildly funny film but I can only imagine folks seeing it in order to see a Hardy solo effort, as before he was paired with Stan Laurel he was a busy actor playing heavies and assorted parts in comedy shorts.
