Sex & Nudity

  • You see a woman (possibly a prostitute) lying in bed and you see her cleavage and quite a few more times in the next minute+ and then she shakes her covered breasts at the men when they leave
  • A prostitute is shown in a room with two men (one of whom is asleep in a chair) and the other is sitting in the edge of the bed where the prostitute is lying (fully clothed). He stands up in his long johns and they leave (presumably after sex).
  • A man and a woman kiss passionately. The woman stands up and leads the man inside. The man closes the door, implying sex
  • A man and a woman can be heard in a bed. The woman then turns on a lamp and is lying on top of the man. Both are under the blanket (presumably after sex).
  • A woman and her husband are in bed together at night and she asks him for a back rub. He rubs her back and the woman groans (delighted from the back rub). The man's brother is in another room and hearing the moaning, thinks that the couple is having sex.

Violence & Gore

  • Quite a lot of violence and a high body count. I think it could easily be rated PG-13. Most of the shootings have little blood and are not graphic. A few, however, mostly toward the end of the film have some more blood. A man is shot in the very opening scene of the film (no blood).
  • Two people are hung. They stand in the back of a wagon and the wagon lurches forward. A close up of the woman's face is then shown after she is dead.
  • A woman arrives at a man's house and hands a man a handkerchief. The man unwraps the handkerchief and a man's ear rolls out and onto the ground. Brief.
  • A man is captured by a gang and a few scenes later is shown underneath circling buzzards, dead. He is tied spread eagles to a tree and a close up of the side of his head is then shown. He is missing his ear, and where is ear used to be is bloody and there is a hole there. This is probably one of the most graphic scenes of the movie. This could be disturbing for viewers.
  • A dog is hit with the butt of a rifle but he is later shown to be fine.
  • The end shootout lasts approximately 40 minutes. This is where the body count climbs. Countless men are shot, most with little blood and most in the stomach or chest.
  • A man walks outside of a cabin and is shot. He is pulled back inside and is later shot several more times. He is shown with blood on his mouth and running down his chin. He is also shown with some blood on his chest. He dies after talking for a while (eyes open). A man closes his eyes.
  • A man runs with sticks of dynamite. He is shot. He then stands up and has blood all over his face. He throws the dynamite and then falls, dead.
  • A man rides a horse while he is carrying lit dynamite. He is shot and falls from his horse. The dynamite explodes (presumably blowing the man up, but the man is not seen).
  • Two men near a cabin and are shot through a window at very close range. No gore.
  • A man is pistol whipped. Several people are punched.
  • A cabin is lit on fire. A sheep can be briefly seen with a bloody wound underneath its leg. It is said that it is from a wolf bite.

Profanity

  • A lot of profanity. Many uses of "God", sometimes used in conjunction is d*** or d*****. Many uses of SOB, whore, one use of pimp, hell, damn, damnit.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Smoking and drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The part where the man who is missing an ear and is shown with a bloody wound on his head. A man is captured by a gang and a few scenes later is shown underneath circling buzzards, dead. He is tied spread eagles to a tree and a close up of the side of his head is then shown. He is missing his ear, and where is ear used to be is bloody and there is a hole there. This is probably one of the most graphic scenes of the movie. This could be disturbing for viewers.
  • The hangings could be disturbing. Unlike some other westerns, the people are actually shown swinging and hanging from the ropes.
  • The two dynamite scenes could be frightening especially the first one where the man is seen charging with the dynamite and is then shown with a very bloody face.
