A strong two-reel offering along the line of the stories of the Northwest which this company used to produce. Barbara Tennant, J.W. Johnston and Guy Hedlund appear, assisted by the entire company. The story is one which instantly grips the attention and is very successfully worked out. It relates just how Sir Dorian Mars happens to be a squaw man in the Northwest and why he chooses to stay there, both for his own honor and that of Lady Beaumont. There is some excellent scenery thrown on the screen and the thrills are legitimate and acceptable. The escape down the river in a motorboat is especially attractive. A fine offering. - The Moving Picture World, August 9, 1913
