The story is that there is a man who attracts women for their money. The women fought back and had their revenge in the end.

The singers in this film can sing very well! They have such powerful voices and brilliant vocal technique. I wish there are more singers like them in the pop music market.

Another thing that struck me was that the places in which the film was shot were very grand. The houses were big and spacious, with stylish decorations and furniture. The film is constantly colourful to keep my eyes busy. The dinner scene...wow! They were dining as if they were kings and queens! The place where the singer sang was also a grand venue, with lavish decorations.

The actors were good at making laugh too. The jokes were funny but never vulgar or cheap. To sum up, the film is funny and warm. Watch it if you can!

Teraf tetkalem baladi?!

Inspite of not seeing this movie until its 20th anniversary, yet it was such a delight to see such a work in which Latifa was a real diva with her famous song Teraf tetkalem baladi "do you speak local Egyptian", which really deserved to be an intro and an ending of the movie, besides her outstanding performance as a faithful daughter and a caring mother despite having unstable marriage. It was a great performance by Ahmed Wafik, as well as Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab, and Ahmed Bedeer. Yes, its not one of Youssef Chahine's best works but it has much of his unique spirit in an awesome light comedy.
