"We're the best, No We're not!"

The Doug Anthony Allstars have got to be the best thing to ever happen to Australian comedy. Since their break-up each of them have gone on to bigger things within the realms of Television.... but none of them will ever come close to the pure energetic & intelligent mayhem which they produced as this BRILLIANT comedy trio.

Live at the National Theatre is their first live video... unfortunately not available on dvd at this point in time and True fans will know that this was actually filmed in Adelaide, not New York!

This video is not as good as the "Dead & Alive" show but my god, it's still one hell of a funny show. To watch DAAS on stage is one of the most exhilerating experiences you can have. You never know where you're headed and you never care.. because you know that wherever it is you are going... it's going to be wild!

I wont say too much more other than, get into DAAS. Once you've seen this, try to hunt down the others. "Dead & Alive" is their peak, but "The Edinburough Years" is awesome too. And then check out their tv show "DAAS Kapital"... if only if was available on dvd!

I give this 9 out of 10.
