Daws Butler: Voice Magician is a wonderful look at the life and career of voice actor, Charles Dawson "Daws" Butler. Every aspect of his career from early radio and early TV on through his big years as the "Voice of Hanna-Barbera" in the late '50s and early '60s plus his years with Jay Ward on the various Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons in addition to his voicing of Cap'n Crunch for over 30 years. Making commentary are Don Messick; Stan Freberg; June Foray; Penny Singleton; Walter Lantz; Hanna-Barbera; and Daws' wife, Myrtis Butler. William Conrad narrates the video. Near the end of the video we see clips of his famed voice actor work-shop in session. I love this video!!! The only problem is the video was too short...57 minutes...and Daws' career spanned the '40s to the '80s!!
