A mediocre thriller which is forgotten today:quite rightly so.A tramp has been knocked down by a car but the coat he is wearing is not his.It's a coat of a wealthy man who has been killed too.as he is very rich ,his family is very interested: his wife ,his brother ,his mistress,his illegitimate son, (and the legitimate one) even the brother-in-law's protégé.The late man's 'last will is not very clear and the story quickly becomes a boring whodunit .It would have taken a great writer to give these puppets substance.Frank Villard is the captain,investigating, and lovely Louise Carletti provides the love interest .
