Toots and Casper Get a Divorce
HarleanHayworth12 June 2014
This is really fun comedy short based on the popular comic strip Toots and Casper. After a silly fight Toots (Thelma Hill) and Casper (Bud Duncan) end up in divorce court. All the men in the courtroom are enthralled by lovely Toots - even the Judge! Thelma Hill gives a delightful performance especially when she is telling stories her unhappy marriage. She really should have become a bigger star. Thelma was actually engaged to St. Elmo Boyce, the director of this film. You only get to see baby Buttercup briefly so I don't think the title really fits. I've seen a few other Toots and Casper shorts and this one is by far the funniest and the best in the series. It's available on DVD and can be found on You Tube so try to watch it.
