This Western number tells a story within a story. Arthur Allardt appears as an old sheriff and the scenes pictured are chiefly those of his early love affair. Edythe Sterling is the girl. The plot is quite ingenious and full of spirited action. This is better than the average Western reel. - The Moving Picture World, May 23, 1914
