Best Ron Ford movie yet.

Heavy on character, a dollop of sex and violence in the right places. And the guy who plays the killer is pretty creepy. Some atmospheric camera effects by Jeff Leroy. Randall Malone is more restrained than in previous roles. Margaret O'Brian makes a guest appearance.

AS if Stephen King had a lovable stalker...

You will see how Hitchcock, Poe & Stephen King might swap plot lines. Ron Ford comes to a spot in his career, any talent would be proud of. He shows us Randal Malone can literally play it straight , Ted Newsom and Jeff Burr can act as well as write or direct. The camera work by Jeff Leroy transcends the medium used, it shows us the perfect, boring world of Lucas Swan (Malone) who runs a Bed & Breakfast in between writing books, BUT, now is the DEAD SEASON for tourism. Murderers don't have an off season though, Ask Margaret O'Brien in a comeback role, ingénues sleep around for. Well, JOE ESTEVEZ shows up in the middle of movie this time. The scene is not exactly OF MICE & MEN, provides the most action packed acting though, Ron Ford plays a simpleton to an angry misled bully, ESTEVEZ. The ending is one of those, You must watch closely! ENJOY.
