With its varied, hypnotic and rhythmic score by Saint guaranteed to transport the willing viewer to "somewhere else", this trademark turn-of-this century Adult feature from Adam & Eve represents my favorite genre of porn. Nicholas Steele does a fine job of bringing it back alive from the Amazon jungle, shot entirely on location with strictly outdoor sex scenes and glamour to spare.
It is especially rewarding to see Briana Banks, she of unquestioned gonzo expertise, so elegantly styled in the central role of the mysterious host of the faraway party. She even affects a faux British accent reminiscent of so many 1930s Hollywood films (think Dinner at Eight on down) and weaves a spell over the proceedings that reminded me a bit of her greatest movie, also for Adam & Eve, "The Puppeteer". Checking the credits, it's not surprising that classic features much the same cast and crew as "The Fiesta".
With lovely flora backdrop to each scene, and fine use of a talented dance troupe to knit the scenes together, I was pleasantly surprised to discover new femmes amidst the stars, as busty Suzie Sweet is magnificent in an early erotic fantasy sex scene with Dale DaBone, and both Alexa and Isabella provide natural beauty in addition to the superstar lineup of Banks, Rita Faltoyano and guest star (in a small role) Ava Vincent.
Evan Stone merely glides through his haughty role, but gets to hump both Briana and Isabella in a couple of bonus scenes tacked on to the DVD content.
Show was shot under the title "Dinner Party 3", as a followup to A & E's terrific Cameron Grant hits, but director Steele saved that release title for a 2004 project starring Carmen Luvana and Lauren Phoenix.
