- When Qwark sells Ratchet the PDA, Ratchet thinks he means "public display of affection" instead of "personal delivery assistant".

- Mild fantasy violence throughout.
- In the post-credits cutscene, Ratchet and Clank watch a commercial where Captain Qwark demonstrates how to use a gadget called a Personal Hygienator. The act of him using the gadget is blocked from the audience's view, although some violent sounds are still audible. They way the characters react suggests that the action was too violent or inappropriate to see, with Ratchet even telling Clank to shut off the holovision before something else happened.
- No gore or anything bloody. Just frequent smashing up stuff and killing creatures in a non-brutal way. Nothing severe here at all.
Profanity

- "Screw" is said once in a non-sexual context.
- In a recording, Chairman Drek prepares to say, "Kiss my ass" when he realizes that he is still being filmed and gets annoyed at the cameraman for not turning the camera off when the word "cut" was spoken.
- Only occasional uses of 'damn it' or other very mild profanity. No bad language to speak of either.

- One of Drek's lieutenants (who is a robot) can be seen with a machine that resembles a cigar in his mouth. However, it is not specified if he is smoking a robot cigar.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- A giant fish can eat the player quite suddenly on certain levels.
- Mildly intense action throughout involving science fiction weapons.
- The action and close fighting in the game is tense, but not in an adult way. It's always just cartoony.
- Any parents should be fine with their kids playing on this.
