An hour of laughs, love, and reflections from the newly-crowned Olympic Champion.
I didn't expect anything spectacular from Sarah Hughes' TV special debut, but I knew that it would have about as much sweetness and warmth as Sarah's personality. It's a rather nicely-packed hour of show-skating from Sarah (Featuring some lovely interpretive programs--"Meditation" was a lyrically symbolic piece performed with scarves), as well as footage behind-the-scenes of Sarah and her mom shooting the now-famous TV spot for Breast Cancer Awareness Month for GE, segments of Sarah visiting hospitals and local schools for different causes, and even a comedy skit performed by Sarah and the Hughes family (The "opening credits" of this sketch were sort of an ersatz version of The Osbournes). Some people may not have been pleased with this special. Maybe they expected too much from it. It was just a nice Christmas present for us, the fans. Thanks Sarah!
