** 1/2 (out of 4)

This documentary short runs just under thirty-minutes. At the start of the film we're told that the producers interviewed over 500 children a few months after the terrorist attacks to see what their opinions were on what happened. I will admit that I had very mixed feelings on this film because on one hand it's interesting to see what children thought of the events but at the same time there were moments where I felt there wasn't much being said. I say that because the events were one of the worst moments in history and, as any parent will know, kids can sometimes say silly things. Obviously when you're interviewing kids under the age of 7, you're going to get some pretty silly answers and that happens a few times here. The saddest segment interviews a young boy whose father was killed during the attacks and this here just struck me as being wrong. Perhaps I'm putting too much into it but the film just never felt right to me. Still, there are some very good moments scattered throughout including an animated sequence using John Lennon's "Imagine" as well as a sequence dealing with a girl's story about the puppy she left behind on 9/11.
