- There is a schoolyard fight in which a boy is punched in the chest, falls to the ground, and is kicked.
- A group of bullies are beaten up, being punched in the chest, throat, and nose, as well as kneed in the crotch. One boy gets a very bloody nose.
- The older brother of one of the bullies confronts the main characters, intending to beat them up. He is kneed in the crotch, hit with a bike, and a chain between his nose and earlobe is ripped off his face, resulting in a bloody nose and ear.
- A man is shot in the back several times. He is later seen with blood on his shirt at the entry points, with blood pooling on the ground below him.
- Two other people are also shot, one in the leg, and one in the chest. Both fall to the ground and are not seen after that.
- Two men are involved in a fist fight and struggle, both receiving bloody noses, with one getting an open wound on his cheek and a cracked lip.
- A man dies in a plane crash with a large explosion.

- Several characters begin saying swear phrases, which are not finished. "Son of a...," "Mother...," "Holy sh...," "You sacks of..."
- An older girl calls a boy a "homo." The girl is rebuked for this by her parent.

- "Bad" characters are shown both smoking and drinking in several scenes. One of them blows smoke in a main character's face, causing him to cough.
- The main characters (underage) are offered "A beer or soda or something" from a mini-bar.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There is a chase in which the main characters flee on their bikes from a group of boys in a car and on foot, who intend to cause them harm. This is a fast and intense sequence, with one of the boys in the car remarking, "Don't kill them. I don't want to get in trouble."
- Two gangsters discuss killing the main characters.
- During several scenes the main characters are threatened with a pistol pointed at them.
- A man chases the main characters through a neighborhood and residential homes, firing a pistol at them, with intent to kill.
- The main characters jump from an airplane without parachutes.
