One of the weirdest shows of my childhood.

As a child growing up at the end of the 80's and early 90's there were many strange children's programs to confuse us and leave everlasting scars. This was one of them.

Even on paper the idea of this show seems odd. An alien comes down to earth to 'learn' about humans and their ways. So of course, the alien decides to hide as a dining chair. The chair is called Henry (my names henry probably why this stuck with me) and talks to the boy of the house Stephen, who helps him, hence the title of the show.

Meant to be educational this show was just down right weird and even as a child i couldn't help cringing every time someone sat on his face. The only thing this taught kids was to be wary of dining room furniture and i have rated it a five as it has left a deep emotional scare.
