Enjoyable ghost story, aimed at a younger audience.

Warning: Spoilers
They knew how to make ghost stories for a younger audience in the 1970's. You can almost picture this drama going out at teatime on a Sunday evening.

Set over six episodes, it tells the story of a Musician and his family who move into a new house, and get more then they bargained for, when all manner of ghosts start appearing.

Admittedly studio bound with dodgy special effects, and acting which at times can seem a little off, none of that seemed to matter, as it is totally watchable, Peter Sallis is very entertaining as the Ghost Hunter.

Some interesting pointers about the Bristol riots of 1831, made me google the events and find out a bit more.

Worth seeing, 8/10

A family moves into an old house and the children discover a mysterious sealed room and the skeleton that waits inside

Warning: Spoilers
A family moves into an old house and the children discover a mysterious sealed room and the skeleton that waits inside.

It's the remains of a 17th century soldier whose restless spirit still haunts the house and the family decide that they have to exorcise the ghost which is terrifying them all - but is it really the soldier that's haunting them, or something else?

A Children's spooky TV show from the seventies which was very atmospheric even if it was very obviously all filmed in a studio. Split over 4-6 episode's, repeated at various times during the early eighties. I would love to see it again.
