Reacting to a potential computer hack, in their system, Waterman's Bank want an outside auditor. Chris Webb decides to put in a tender. He makes the perfect plan in how to rob Waterman's, by computer, and hopefully frighten them to death.
Webb is sent to Waterman's top secret data centre to find bugs in the system. Looking at the paper trail he discovers secret money transactions. Webb receives a tip that a patch will give him name but suddenly receives £9,000 in his bank.
Martin Alloway admits he paid Webb £9,000 and run a test program using his name to set him up. Webb creates a tragic accident for Alloway and puts Jake to search for his scam. Jennifer makes a moves on Jake. Webb researches Alloway's life.
Jake breaks the source code so Webb puts his plan into action. Accessing the customer data files he finds 256 accounts for JV Smith. Jake gets the plans to the Red Zone and Webb gets leverage on Harrington with the £9,000 Alloway paid him.
