Yet when it emerged last month that The Weakest Link, complete with Anne Robinson, could be making a return to our screens after a five-year absence, opinion was divided somewhat: do we really want people going round mimicking that God-awful catchphrase all over again? Whilst you’re busy pondering, here are five game shows that, for different reasons should remain exclusive to Challenge TV.

Mr Chips is back! The cheeky snake-charming, animated golden robot is back on primetime TV for the first time in over a decade this weekend, as ITV revives the classic gameshow Catchphrase.
Roy 'say what you see' Walker is out and Britain's Got More Talent's Stephen Mulhern steps into his hosting shoes, but other than that it's business as usual with the cheesy, fun-for-all-the-family quiz.
Bringing back cheesy TV gameshows is currently on trend for TV execs. Later this year, Keith Lemon will be reviving Through The Keyhole (!) and Sky brought back Blockbusters at the end of last year. Pogs. Saved By the Bell. Macaulay Culkin was making good films. The Simpsons was still amazing. Kenan & Kel. The 1990s were great for a lot of reasons. A '90s (and early '00s) nostalgia-fest, it features a handful of groups who made the decade poptastic, made curtain haircuts cool and had kids learning 'Bodyshakin' dance moves across the nation's playgrounds.

Double denim legends B*Witched, Popstars rejects Liberty X, bad boys 5ive, cheeky boy-next-door trio 911, sultry girlband The Honeyz and a Kerry Katona-era Atomic Kitten are all taking part and putting aside their differences to relive their pop heyday.
But this isn't '90s enough for Digital Spy. We've picked out eight other pop...

The 53-year-old, who will host the first episode of BBC One's Hole In The Wall this Saturday, said the series has given him a "wonderful life". "If I reach 100 years old I'll still have people looking at what I've got in my trolley when I'm in the supermarket, but that's fine - it's given me the most wonderful life so I'll never knock it," (more)...
