If you grew up anywhere near the '90s and 2000s, you likely remember Carmen Electra for heating up the screen on Baywatch and Singled Out and inspiring your love of low-rise jeans, crop tops, and trucker hats. She was an original member of the Pussycat Dolls dance troupe in La and had roles in Good Burger, Starsky & Hutch, and the Scary Movie franchise. Carmen has clearly cemented her place in pop culture as one of the ultimate Hollywood bombshells (full disclosure: a Popsugar editor who may or may not be writing this may or may not still own her Aerobic Striptease workout DVDs from the early 2000s). These days, Carmen looks just as hot in a swimsuit now as she did back in her lifeguard days, and she still remains one of the best parts of our MTV Spring break memories. In honor of Carmen's big milestone, we're taking...

Cinematographer Edward Lachman may not be a household name, though he undoubtedly should be. One of the most highly regarded directors of photography in the business, Lachman has collaborated with some of the best filmmakers of his generation: Steven Soderbergh, Todd Haynes, Todd Solondz, Paul Schrader, Sofia Coppola, Robert Altman, Werner Herzog, George Sluizer, Wim Wenders, Mira Nair, Ulrich Seidl, and Andrew Niccol — to name a handful.
His career began in 1975 by photographing the infamous Sylvester Stallone–Henry Winkler Brooklyn gang cult-fave, The Lords of Flatbush. In the last 40 years, he’s carved out a truly varied résumé. For example: in 2002, Lachman co-directed Ken Park with filmmaker Larry Clark, before moving onto direct the exercise video Carmen Electra’s Aerobic Striptease in 2003.
Lachman’s most recent feature, Carol — his third partnership with Haynes, and perhaps his finest work — just entered a limited release, so there’s no better time to...

Carmen Electra showed her wild side in a pair of leopard-print spandex on the set of a recent "Funny or Die" video.
Electra slipped into the animal-print leggings and a sheer, plunging top for a Nick Corirossi-directed video for the comedy website. The 41-year-old looked amazing while filming on a bridge and hanging with the crew during the nighttime shoot.
Earlier this month, the former "Baywatch" babe turned heads at the 2013 Do Something Awards when she walked the red carpet in a backless, blue satin gown that hugged all her curves.
It's no surprise Electra stays in such great shape, considering she has her own workout regimen, the Aerobic Striptease, which debuted nearly 10 years ago.
"I think with the aerobic striptease, no one was expecting it and there was nothing like it at the time," she told Star magazine at the Do Something Awards. "I was dancing a lot...

The Choice: Cat Deeley hosts The Choice, the new celebrity dating game show with a twist premiering Thursday, June 7 (9:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) on Fox. 2012 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Mathieu Young/Fox
Under a new rhyming scheme spin-off model for new shows, you’ll soon be able to watch The Choice, and see celebrities submit themselves to a blind date experiment. It’s The Voice‘s “no see” format, but now eligible celebrities are choosing potential romantic partners.
It’s bound to be crazy, and some of the “celebrities” only have loose ties to the claim, but it certainly looks to be the sort of madness people will check out.
Is this show too much? Let me know your thoughts. This falls into a category of reality that I find hard to predict, and I’d love to know if people are looking forward to it.

So You Think You Can Dance continued a Season 8 tradition on Wednesday night of bringing us an inoffensive guest judge who lobbed softballs and/or followed the Nigel Lythgoe party line. The latest variation on this theme, Carmen Electra, brought a supple, new-age-y twist to the role, but she might have been just as effective if she’d held up placards with emoticons conveying her feelings about the various dances: “Happy,” “sad,” “sexy,” and “I’ve run out of vocabulary words.” The one thing that confused me about Electra’s judging stint, though, was her response to Cat Deeley’s question about her dance credentials.
