Sandra Bullock, who has shared screen space with Keanu Reeves in films such as ‘Speed’, ‘Speed 2: Cruise Control’, and ‘The Lake House’, said that the two need to come in front of the camera together before the actress “dies”.
Reeves is more than confident that he and Bullock could pull off a third ‘Speed’ movie.
During a joint interview on the ’50 Mph’ podcast, Reeves talked about ‘Speed 3′, saying, “I mean, you know – we’d freakin’ knock it out of the park.”
Bullock added: “There’s no formula. It just is… Before I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera.”
“Are we, you know, in wheelchairs or with walkers? Maybe. Are we on little scooters at Disneyland?”
“It does feel like there is a siren call to it like there’s something that wasn’t done.

Keanu Reeves is more than confident that he and Sandra Bullock could pull off a third “Speed” movie. Jan de Bont’s action thriller “Speed” became the fourth highest-grossing movie of 1994 with $350 million worldwide, largely in part due to the sizzling chemistry between Reeves and Bullock. The film turned the two actors into one of the decade’s iconic screen duos; they reunited onscreen in 2006 for the romance drama “The Lake House.”
During a joint interview on the “50 Mph” podcast, Reeves had this to say about “Speed 3”: “I mean, you know — we’d freakin’ knock it out of the park.”

Last year, Sandra Bullock lost her partner of eight years, Bryan Randall, to Als after a three-year-long battle. Said to have been soulmates by her close friends, it’s safe to say that the loss of Randall took a heavy toll on the actress. But per an insider, one of her closest friends, Keanu Reeves, is reportedly trying to find his Speed Costar love again.
While reports suggest the Miss Congeniality Star is yet to overcome the loss, which is reasonable considering it has only been seven months, an insider revealed that she is ready to love again.

Alan Wake 2 fans are currently enjoying this survival horror game to the fullest. This game has evolved in a big way ever since it was launched in 2023. One by one, developer Remedy Entertainment has made improvements to this game. The most significant part of that improvement was allowing people with older Gtx 1000 series GPUs to get better performance in this game.
Besides that, fans also have much to look forward to; they are eagerly waiting for this game’s previously announced photo mode. And the biggest reason for them to get hyped is the upcoming Dlc for Alan Wake 2. This Dlc is set to expand this universe even further. To their surprise, fans have also received an update on this Dlc very recently.

The Devs from Remedy Entertainment behind Alan Wake 2 held an Ama (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit a few days back speaking in length about the title and answering fan questions. Nathalie Jankie, Mission Designer, Marko Muikku, Gameplay Lead, and John Crossland, Lead Character Artist answered some of the best fan questions.
The developers also mentioned that the team is working on expansions for Alan Wake 2, namely Night Springs and The Lake House. The official Alan Wake Reddit group is almost 60,000 members strong and the Devs mentioned the Ama was being held to celebrate going past the 50,000 mark. One of those questions centered around one of the missions from Alan Wake 2, titled We Sing.

Buenos Aires — In one of the first deals to close at this week’s Ventana Sur market, Spain’s Latido Films has boarded “Lo Que Quisimos Ser,” written-directed by Alejandro Agresti, produced by Fernando Sokolowicz at Aleph Media, and Gastón Duprat, who have teamed as producer and co-writer-director on “The Distinguished Citizen,” “The Man Next Door,” and “The Artist.”
“Lo Que Quisimos Ser” marks the latest film from Agresti, one of Argentina’s most international talents best known for a Hollywood sojourn which saw him directing Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in “The Lake House” and writing Argentina-set, English-language “No somos animales,” with John Cusack.

With Remedy’s Alan Wake II at long last arriving today for fans, the developer has further teased what’s next for the horror writer. After dropping hints of post-launch content alongside the launch trailer, Remedy has confirmed that Alan Wake II will received two expansions.
Per IGN, Remedy will release two expansions in 2024 for Alan Wake II, with the first expansion, called “Night Springs”, is estimated to be coming out in late Spring 2024. Here’s the premise for “Night Springs”:
“Visions and dreams. Fiction is written and coming true. Fiction collapses and remains just words on a page. These are those stories… in Night Springs. Play as several familiar characters from the world of Alan Wake and experience the unexplainable in multiple self-contained episodes of Night Springs, a fictional TV-show set in the world of Alan Wake.”
After that comes “The Lakehouse,” which does not have a release window as of yet.

Sandra Bullock once already teamed up with Keanu Reeves in the action thriller Speed. The two actors would come together for another feature, which Bullock quipped was due to Reeves’ secret crush on her.

The 2006 film The Lake House was much different than their previous film Speed. Whereas Speed was pure action, The Lake House was a fantasy romance film. It starred Bullock and Reeves as two anonymous lovers who would write each other letters, slowly falling for each other in the process.
Bullock shared that people were always curious as to when she and Reeves would reunite after Speed. But they were both looking for a project like Lake House to come around before collaborating again.
“It came out of nowhere,” she once told MovieWeb about Lake House.

Welcome to The B-Side, from The Film Stage. Here we talk about movie stars! Not the movies that made them famous or kept them famous, but the ones they made in between.
Today we discuss one of our biggest, most enduring movie stars: Sandra Bullock! To do this, we’ve brought our good friend and the co-host of the great Almost Major podcast: Kevin Tudor!
Our B-Sides today include: Love Potion No. 9, 28 Days, The Lake House, and Our Brand Is Crisis. We dig into Bullock’s peaks and valleys as a star, her humble beginnings on TV (she played Tess on the TV adaptation of Working Girl!), and her breakout mid-90s.
We marvel at the incredible misogyny-tinged criticism she endured early on in her career, wonder if we’ll ever see the short film she directed, and discuss why we love (or don’t love!) The Lake House.

When it comes to storytelling, setting is incredibly important. This is true for just about any format, from cinema to writing to photography. The background directly influences what people think will happen in the story and, more immediately, in the current scene. It’s a passive form of storytelling that falls in line with the dialogue, the plot, and the next big surprise.
Almost a century into Hollywood’s existence, there are more than a few tropes that audiences are familiar with. A dilapidated hospital, for example, isn’t going to be the primary location of a romantic comedy or a family drama. Conversely, a horror film isn’t likely to take place in a meadow of wildflowers (barring Midsommar).
Over the decades, certain places have become ingrained elements of certain stories, particularly relating to theme and structure. But some settings are more complex than others, allowing for a more diverse and stronger storytelling reach.

Last week, fans were shocked and delighted by the news that a dormant DC franchise would receive a sequel with its original star and director set to return. No, sorry Henry Cavill fans, there’s still no word on a Man of Steel sequel. Still, if it’s any consolation, Keanu Reeves and director Francis Lawerence will take another stab at a Constantine film, after their original installment was released more than 15 years ago in 2005. The new film will be written by Akiva Goldsman and will see Reeves reprise his role as a supernatural exorcist and demonologist John Constantine.
Constantine was a modest hit upon release, grossing 232 million worldwide on a 100 million budget. Breaking through at 50 miles per hour, Sandra Bullock hasn’t slowed down since “Speed.” Although the veteran performer’s first acting credit belongs to a minor part in the 1987 thriller “Hangmen” (which she’d follow up with a handful of straight-to-video releases and TV projects), Bullock didn’t become a household name among movie lovers until the mid ’90s.
After dazzling audiences and the box office as bus-jumping hero Annie Porter in the 1994 smash hit “Speed” opposite Keanu Reeves, Bullock was regularly cast in action-packed suspense flicks and lighter rom-com fare. She’d lead in both Jon Turteltaub’s charming romance “While You Were Sleeping” and Irwin Winkler’s cybercrime thriller “The Net” in 1995. The following year, she’d star in rom-com “Two If By Sea,” legal drama “A Time to Kill,” and historical novel adaption “In Love and War.” Of course, the future two-time Academy Award nominee (one time winner) was just getting started.

After almost three absurdly long years, “Stranger Things” Season 4 is just around the corner. A tentpole series for Netflix — at a whopping production cost of reportedly 30 million per episode — the fan-favorite sci-fi show that launched its young adult cast, led by Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard, into superstardom will be dropping new episodes May 27.
And, according to the Emmy-winning series’ executive producer Shawn Levy, it’s going to be “harrowing,” “cinematic” and “epic.” He told TheWrap in a recent interview, “This is so much more story and runtime than ever before, not by a little. By a lot.”
The last month of spring will also see the return of reality series titles like “The Circle” — a social media-driven competition series where players catfish, befriend and flirt with each other with the aim of winning a grand cash prize — and “Bling Empire” — which centers on a group of uber-wealthy Asian American friends in Beverly Hills.

As the undisputed king of streaming (for now at least), Netflix has enjoyed the presence of some major blockbusters. Now, with its list of new releases for May 2022, Netflix is bringing back one of its biggest ever hits.
Stranger Things season 4 “volume one” is set to premiere on May 27. It’s been a long wait for new episodes of this ’80s-tinged sci-fi/horror series and based on the trailers, the wait will have been well worth it. In this go-around, the kids of Hawkins (now high schoolers) will have to contend with the Upside Down once again to go along with the horrors of the Creel House.
While Stranger Things is the biggest Netflix original this month, it’s far from the only one. Mike Myers’ latest series The Pentaverate premieres on May 5 (fittingly: 5/5). Meanwhile The Lincoln Lawyer is set to arrive on May 13 followed by Love, Death & Robots Volume...

Movies starring Keanu Reeves have reportedly been scrubbed from China streaming platforms such as Tencent Video, Youku and Migu Video following the actor’s public support for Tibet earlier this year. Reeves was announced in January as a performer for the 35th annual Tibet House Benefit Concert alongside Laurie Anderson, Patti Smith, Cyndi Lauper and Iggy Pop. Philip Glass serves as the benefit’s artistic director. The event took place virtually for the second year in a row earlier this month.
After Reeves’ participation in the Tibet benefit was announced, Chinese nationalists took to social media in protest of the actor. China rejects claims of Tibetan independence and has long blackballed artists who have expressed support for Tibet and/or the Dalai Lama. Reeves’ support for the Tibet benefit went public just as “The Matrix Resurrections” was opening in China, but the action sequel was boycotted by nationalists and underwhelmed at the box office.

The “Speed” of retaliation against Keanu Reeves in China sure is swift.
After Chinese nationalists threatened to boycott Reeves’ latest movie “The Matrix: Resurrections” following his virtual appearance at the 35th annual Tibet House Benefit Concert, it turns out that Reeves’ former films have now been erased from streaming platforms in China.
The Los Angeles Times reported that China’s major streamers like iQiyi, Tencent Video, Bilibili, and Xigua Video have removed most films starring Reeves following the March 3 benefit concert for the New York-based nonprofit, which is affiliated with the Dalai Lama.
An LA Times search for Reeves — whose name translates to Jinu Liweisi — on select Chinese streaming platforms now yields zero films.
“Sorry, no results related to ‘Keanu Reeves’ were found,” the platform iQiyi now reads, per The Los Angeles Times. “Due to relevant laws, regulations and policies, some results are not shown.”

Exclusive: Daisy Ridley is set to star and produce the indie drama Sometimes I Think About Dying, which recently wrapped production in Oregon. Rachel Lambert directed the pic with Kevin Armento, Stefanie Abel Horowitz, and Katy Wright-Mead penning the script. Dave Merheje, Meg Stalter, Bree Elrod, Brittany O’Grady and Parvesh Cheena round out ensemble.
Based on play Killers by Armento as well as the short film Sometimes I Think About Dying, the film follows Fran who likes to think about dying. It brings sensation to her quiet life. When she makes the new guy at work laugh, it leads to more: a date, a slice of pie, a conversation, a spark. The only thing standing in their way is Fran herself.
Joining Ridley as a producer are Alex Saks, Dori Rath, Lauren Beveridge and Brett Beveridge. Saks’ page fifty-four pictures produced the film alongside the Beveridge’s Point Productions and Mirror Image Films.

Top South Korean actor Lee Jung-jae is thoroughly enjoying the extra burnish to his already distinguished career that has come from the global success of “Squid Game,” Netflix’s hit survival game TV series. However, he says that the phone is not ringing off the hook with new offers from Hollywood.
“No proposals or requests have come my way,” he told Variety. “But, if the right one came along, I’d be happy to be in an overseas production. It could be fun.”
Lee plays Gi-hun, a penniless wastrel who gambles too much, steals from his family, gets beaten up by loan sharks and accepts a mysterious invitation to become contender #456 in the deadly competition. His affability and carefully crafted backstory make him an easy-to-like protagonist who faces an evil organization that its literally playing with people’s lives.

This Brooklyn Nine-Nine review contains spoilers.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episodes 1 and 2
It would an understatement the size of Terry’s pecs to say that the world has changed a lot since Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s last episode. Besides a historic pandemic that has changed the way we operate at work and in public, America also reckoned with egregious examples of police brutality that found many discussing police reform, systemic racism, and even abolishing policing as we know it altogether.
In the aftermath of the George Floyd protests, the cast and crew of Brooklyn Nine-Nine spoke at length about their discomfort portraying light-hearted cops on television and discussed ways in which they could meaningfully address painful, complicated issues. Creator Dan Goor threw away four scripts for the final season in order to make sure that his show was not glossing over relevant conversations around policing.

Ernest Hemingway is widely considered to be one of the best writers in American history. He is responsible for several classic works of fiction including For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Old Man and The Sea. But while his life was full of lots of literary success, like many other famous creatives, he also had his fair share of demons. Hemingway died by suicide when he was just 61-years-old, leaving behind an incredible legacy but also many questions of what he could’ve done had he lived longer. The highly anticipated spinoff is set to launch on Hulu as a weekly anthology in July.
No word on what date in July the series will arrive, but this series is a Hulu exclusive, so it won't air on FX at all.

After that concludes, American Horror Story: Double Feature, the tenth season of the anthology drama, will launch when that show concludes its freshman season.

Romantic movies are not everyone’s cup of tea, surely not mine. However, Korean Cinema has presented few ground-breaking works that, for the originality of the script or for the great onscreen chemistry between the protagonists or for a magic ensemble of elements, managed to crossover the target audience circles and become everyone’s cup of hot chocolate. “My Sassy Lady”, “A Moment to Remember”, “Castaway on The Moon” are only few of those champions and “Il Mare” is a leading star of the group. The film – which also led to an abysmal US remake with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock – has generated a proper following, with fans belonging to very different demographic pools from the one the film was originally intended for.

Since the anthology series was renewed for season 10 back in 2018, we didn't have to worry about whether it was coming back, either. And, thanks to a recent reveal by Ryan Murphy, we now know a little more about what to expect in next season's American Horror Story: Double Feature!

Ever since Ryan Murphy announced American Horror: Double Feature, there have been many questions about what the title actually meant.
Now, we have some clarity, and it's good news for the fans.
"It means two seasons for the fans airing in one calendar year," Murphy clarified, according to Cbr.
"So double the viewing pleasure. One set by the sea (this cast has already been announced). A second by the sand (that casting announcement coming)."
Murphy dropped the first teaser on social media for the series last week, and it revealed the following:
The Title of American Horror Story 10 is... Double Feature
Two Terrifying Stories ... One Season One By the Sea ... One By the Sand
More to Come...
It was certainly vague, but it hinted that there would be two stories as part of the season. However, without any clarification, it was more confusing than exciting.

Netflix said Thursday that it is turning Sulwe, the bestselling children’s book by Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, into an animated musical, the latest move by the streamer to bolster its feature animation slate that already includes Richard Linklater’s Apollo 10½: A Space Age Adventure, Henry Selick’s Wendell & Wild, Nora Twomey’s My Father’s Dragon and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio among others.
Sulwe, written by Nyong’o with illustrations by Vashti Harrison, follows Sulwe, a child who has skin darker than anyone she knows — and all she wants is to be beautiful and bright. The Lake House mystery ended, and Eddie made a shocking decision by the end of A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 3.

Also, if you leave a film review on the store, you have the chance of winning a free blu ray or DVD of your choice. Each month one review will be picked and the reviewer gets a complimentary film of their choice.
Additionally, you can tag Terracotta on social media if you are happy with your purchases.
If you’re in the UK, Terracotta has added some more new films to their streaming site, including classic Korean films from the New Wave era: April Snow, Christmas in August and Il Mare – hard to believe that these great films are only just available now for the first time in the UK.

Although it still has a long way to go to catch up to Netflix, HBO Max is gradually building a reputation for both an impressive library of content and its own original programming. As well as reportedly working on a number of Batman-focused series, the WarnerMedia streamer is also absorbing shows from DC Universe, and funding the Snyder Cut of Justice League. We now know what’s coming to HBO Max in September, and there’s plenty there for subscribers to sink their teeth into.
The big original series highlight next month is the Ridley Scott-produced Raised by Wolves, which explores two androids raising human children. Created by Adam Guzikowski, the program could be one of HBO Max’s first big hits with critics and audiences, and is set to arrive on September 3rd. Other notable originals include comedy Unpregnant, wherein a pregnant teenager travels to Mexico with her...
