John Cena:Word Life is the first DVD released so far for one of the brightest WWE talents in years. John Cena's career has escalated so much so that he is now at the top of the wrestling world by holding the WWE title, captured at the grand daddy of them all Wrestlemania (21).
John Cena's potential was shown in his debut match against Kurt Angle in which John intended to show his ruthless aggression to make it to the big time in the WWE. This DVD however looks at the life of John Cena before his win at Wrestlemania XX where he captured his first major championship, the United States title by defeating the Big Show.
The DVD spans his career with rivalries with WWE superstars Kurt Angle, the Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Eddie Guerrero and more. It shows how his character/gimmick has developed, from rapping at a Halloween party to dissing big name players claiming his territory in the WWE ring as well as the locker room. The battle raps are extremely funny, and are a must see!!
The behind the scenes features are a real insight to the man behind the throwback jerseys and steel chains. A man who is passionate about his family, music and most of all the wrestling business. John definitely shows his playful side; let's just say an Afro Wig, Gold Boots and a Thong LOL!!
Another thing that's great is that there's no network censorship on this DVD, so every rap is presented as it was meant to be seen. Raw and unedited!!
I've watched this DVD so many times, i've lost count. Fantastic features, highly comedic, Cena's charisma and talent alone makes this DVD a must see, and with his current success in and out of the ring, i am optimistic that there will be another John Cena DVD in the works and I for one can't wait!!.

This movie about John Cena is a awesome way to show kids the real and sweet John Cena! Cena is one of the hottest guys on this earth! I know that everyone might think that he is a THUG but he is really cool and cute.All of the other guys that were in this movie was awesome and they must be really good friends,Cause to do this is one cool thing to do!!! Now one of the nicest guys in this movie would have to be the cute and wonderful Spanky!!! Brian is really cool!!! This was really cool!! His mom was even in this movie!!! And I think that everyone needs to watch and learn that John Cena is not only a hot guy but and down to earth guy next'd door kinda guy!!! SO everyone go and watch smackdown and rock on..Ohhhh and "WORD LIFE"

This DVD is an interesting look at John Cena out/inside the ring. His Rapping skills are cool, it shows him walking around in a g-string in front of his embarrassed parents ...... totally classic scene. If you like rap then give this a look, you don't have to be a wrestling fan to enjoy this DVD. John Cena's 1st wrestling match was against Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, he may not have won the match but he gained the respect of fellow wrestlers and fans alike. His Rap persona is closer to the real him than prototype was, as this DVD shows. With the Skills that Cena has a CD should be on the way, a lot of people think that he is a Eminem wannabe i totally disagree just because hes a white rapper and freestyles like no one else's business it doesn't make him a wannabe.
