The strongest sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo Satoru, had a plethora of cursed techniques that made him worthy of the title. And now he has returned to the manga series, with Yuta controlling him and his techniques to finally defeat Sukuna. However, the thing that will help Yuta defeat the King of Curses is not Gojo’s domain expansion or his infinity but his Six Eyes.

The Six Eyes are one of the rarest physical phenomena in Jujutsu Kaisen. While a lot of things have been revealed about them, there are still some mysteries left that need to be debunked, and Gege Akutami might have finally revealed a major plot point of the Six Eyes in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 261.

The 2024 edition of Bisff was as indicative as a festival could be, both for the short film industry and cinema in the region overall. For starters, and as we mentioned many times before, the Korean short films nowadays seems to have made significant progress, to the point that it can be more interesting searching among them than in the feature ones. Titles like “Eyes”, “Hunted Owl Family” and “I'm Here to See The House” highlight the fact in the most eloquent fashion. At the same time, and as we move further in Asian, the rather interesting mixture of documentary and fiction comes to the fore, occasionally finding its apogee in some of the titles featured here, with reality proving, once more, that provides better scripts that people's imagination.
Without further ado, here is a rundown of all the titles we reviewed for the 2024 edition of Busan International Short Film Festival Reviews,...

Roger Corman, the influential director, producer, and studio executive of independent film, has died at the age of 98.
Known as “The Pope of Pop Cinema,” Corman helmed hundreds of low-budget independent films over the course of his seven-decade career. Some of his notable credits included The Little Shop of Horror, Rock ‘n’ Roll High School, Death Race 2000, A Bucket of Blood, and X: The Man with the X-ray Eyes.
As a producer, Corman also gave opportunities to many young directors and actors who would become future Hollywood legends in their own right. Directors like Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, James Cameron, Ron Howard, and Jonathan Demme all worked with Corman early on in their careers. Later, these directors put Corman in their own films: he made cameos in Scorsese’s The Godfather Part II, Demme’s The Silence of the Lambs and Philadelphia, and Howard’s Apollo 13.

Despite not having the fame of its Japanese counterpart, Korean animation has been definitely taking steps forward recently, with the quality of both content and artform improving significantly. “Eyes” is another testament to the fact.
Eyes screened at Busan International Short Film Festival
The animation begins in stop-motion, and the story takes place at the self-portrait class, where a series of students are drawing their portraits by looking at their hand-mirrors. One of the students, Wilson, however, has only one eye, and despite trying to hide it from the rest with his long hair on his face, he is still bullied. A blond boy takes the image he has just drawn, where he depicted himself with one eye, and paints over it with his marker, giving him a patch eye and horns, ruining his work and laughing at him mockingly, along with some other boys.

Even in the face of exciting and thrilling superhero games, Batman: Arkham trilogy games are still considered to be one of the greatest. The primary reason for the trilogy’s popularity goes to the exceptional gameplay mechanics, immersive storytelling, and faithful adaptation of the comics, captivating both casual gamers and the ardent Dark Knight fans.
Batman in the Batman: Arkham Trilogy
With a superior combat system neatly integrated with innovative stealth gameplay, the game features some of the most iconic locations and a plethora of gadgets to take down the thugs and the supervillains. However, the trilogy also features a rich narrative that focuses on every minute detail. Needless to say, gamers enjoyed every minute of playing the trilogy.
It looks like a Snake Eyes game from the G.I. Joe franchise is in the works and it is heavily inspired by the Batman Arkham games.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are two of the biggest titans of cinema. DiCaprio is known for his charisma and flawless acting while Scorsese’s gritty realism is unmatched by anyone else. Magic has happened whenever these two worlds have collided in movies like “The Departed” & “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

Maidaan’s Massive Dip On Monday
According to the early trends, the sports-drama might have taken a massive dip on the fifth day, with only 1.50 – 2 crore coming in. Ajay Devgn‘s film, which earned 22.22 crore till Sunday, might add a few more crore but not touch the 25 crore mark also, failing the Monday litmus test.
The film took almost a dip of 76% on Monday from the previous day, and the Monday total might push it somewhere to 23.5 – 24 crore in total. Maidaan might need to pick up during the week to stick around,...

Wil Wheaton landed his first professional acting gig in 1981, appearing in the TV movie "A Long Way Home." He was nine years old. Wheaton was impressive enough to become one of Hollywood's more in-demand child actors, and the next five years of his life were immensely busy. He appeared in films like "The Defiant Ones" and "The Last Starfighter," and TV shows like "Highway to Heaven," "Family Ties," and "St. Elsewhere." It was nothing but an upward arc for the young performer.
Wheaton's first leading role came in 1986 with the release of Rob Reiner's 1950s nostalgia piece "Stand By Me," an adaptation of the Stephen King novella "The Body." In "Stand By Me," Wheaton played 12-year-old Gordie Lachance, a kid smarting from the recent death of his older brother and the familial resentment it caused. Former President Donald Trump has ridiculed the former Republican National Committee (RNC) chair Ronna McDaniel on Truth Social twice after she was terminated by NBC News.
NBC News fired McDaniel as a political analyst just days after hiring her after a revolt among its anchors and staffers at the news division, who asked why a person who supported Trump’s false statements about the 2020 election was hired in the first place.
“Wow,” Trump wrote. “Ronna McDaniel got fired by Fake News NBC. She only lasted two days, and this after McDaniel went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear. It leaves her in a very strange place, it’s called Never Neverland, and it’s not a place you want to be.”

New month, new horror recommendations from Deep Cuts Rising. This installment features selections reflecting the month of April 2024.
Regardless of how they came to be here, or what they’re about, these past movies can generally be considered overlooked, forgotten or unknown.
This month’s offerings include telepathic plants, ecological horrors, and a lot of killer cats.
The Uncanny (1977)
Pictured: The Uncanny (1977)
Directed by Denis Héroux.
The Uncanny is a two-for kind of deal: it works for both National Pet Day (April 11) and Tell a Story Day (April 27). Here we have Peter Cushing‘s character talking at length about the evils of cats, with his three examples fleshing out this singular anthology. And while this film is often mistaken for an Amicus production, it was, in fact, made by The Rank Organisation. However, Amicus co-founder Milton Subotsky was also a co-producer.

Shaitaan is good on Sunday, will benefit from Holi holiday today. (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Sunday proved to be yet another good day for Shaitaan as collections came to 4.50 crores*. This is nice as we are talking about the third Sunday here, and that too for a non-event film. Moreover, the Vikas Bahl film also belongs to the supernatural genre, and typically such films have a shelf life of a maximum of two weeks. However, Shaitaan is continuing to do quite well even in the third week and such is the kind of hold that it’s demonstrating that the good run will continue for the next few weeks as well.
The collections of the film have now zoomed up to 129 crores*, and many would have presumed that this would be the best-case scenario when it comes to the lifetime total. Here, I am not talking about pre-release predictions because back then,...

Madgaon Express Box Office Collection Day 3: Eyes The Extended Weekend! ( Photo Credit – YouTube )
As was expected, Madgaon Express was steady on Sunday as 2.81 crore came in. The good part is that there has been day-on-day growth for the comedy, which opened at 1.63 crore on Friday. However, what’s also true is the fact that though films in general have been seeing good Saturday growth, the quantum is not really the same on Sunday when the growth is much less.
In that aspect, Madgaon Express followed the same trend, though what’s also notable is that there was no Bogo offer this time around. The film’s release timing is good because the partial holiday today would add to the moolah further. That said, there is a point of caution.
On the day of Holi, theatres usually stay closed till the afternoon, and it’s only after 2-3 Pm that the screenings resume.

Striking a tonal balance between drama and comedy can be difficult. It’s even harder when the series must adhere to a specific place and time. Yet Palm Royale, which debuts on March 20th on Apple TV+, makes a strong play for the Mad Men demographic. Equal parts stylish, melodramatic, and witty, there’s a lot to like about Palm Royale. However, even with one of the greatest casts ever assembled for a television show on paper, one cannot help but feel disappointed. There are fun performances, but its premise and story feel antiquated in 2024.
Palm Royale Plot
Based on the novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel, Palm Royale follows Maxine Simmons-Dellacort (Kristen Wiig) as she walks in two worlds. She reaches for high status at the Palm Royal Club, where the socialites of Palm Beach lounge. Among her idols are Dinah Donahue (Leslie Bibb), Evelyn Rollins (Allison Janney...

Box Office – Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya keeps its run intact even in the fifth weekend, could hit 90 crores lifetime(Photo Credit –Facebook)
Even in its fifth weekend, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha continues to entice audiences. The film is running at select screens with just a show or two being allocated to it. Still, at the number of properties, the film was running to good capacity over the weekend, which ensured that around 1.50 crores* more were added between Saturday and Sunday. In the times when a majority of films lose steam by the second weekend itself, it’s remarkable to see how the sci-fi rom-com still stays on to be relevant in the fifth weekend as well.
As a result, the total so far for the film reads as 87 crores*. This is superb because while it’s already the third biggest grosser ever for Shahid Kapoor after Padmaavat and Kabir Singh,...

Billie Eilish is revealing the dream she had years ago that made her realize she needed to break up with her boyfriend at the time.
The Grammy-winning singer and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, were chatting with Amelia Dimoldenberg on Friday for an Oscars Nominees ‘Pre-Luncheon’ Luncheon when Eilish opened up about the memorable dream.
After Dimoldenberg asked the music duo if they wrote their 2016 hit song “Ocean Eyes” about Cillian Murphy, they both jokingly agreed that they “probably” did. O’Connell added, “I probably wrote it about Cillian, yeah. Big fan of Cillian’s eyes in Dunkirk.”
But Eilish quickly added, “Batman is the one, though.” Dimoldenberg followed up with, “Is that your favorite superhero?” to which the “Bad Guy” singer responded, “Yeah? I don’t really know much about superheroes,” but that she did like 2008’s The Dark Knight specifically.
That led the singer to then share she needed “to be real” for a moment.

Imagine “Libs of TikTok,” but created by a state government to pillory public school teachers.
That’s the gist of a new project launched by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, a Republican, who has created a portal called “Eyes on Education” that encourages members of the public to tattle on teachers they believe are pushing so-called “woke” content on kids.
Eyes on Education enables self-styled whistleblowers to submit evidence to the state of “objectionable curricula, policies, or programs.” And the site presents a selection of such content, organized by school district.

It’s a good time to be a Sofia Coppola fan. Alongside last fall’s release of one of her finest films, Priscilla, we got an expansive book detailing her career. Now we have two new updates related to other peaks of the director’s career.
First up, a New Yorker profile has revealed that a documentary on the making of her 2006 feature Marie Antoinette is in the works. Sofia Coppola’s mother Eleanor Coppola shot behind-the-scenes footage from the production, as she did for her husband Francis Ford Coppola’s films, most notably resulting in the documentary feature Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse. For Marie Antoinette, she captured around 80 hours, and both mother and daughter are now in the editing process. Here’s hoping it arrives by the film’s 20th anniversary.
For something that will arrive a bit sooner, a deluxe double vinyl LP of the Lost in Translation...

The notorious difficulty of FromSoftware’s games is no secret, where players often encounter intentional oddities in their challenging quests. The recent game-breaking experience of a fellow Tarnished in Elden Ring took this to a whole new level, leaving the community bewildered and jokingly speculating that it could have been an intentional feature.
On their usual game playthrough, a player encountered a peculiar phenomenon as their controller mysteriously began powering off under a specific condition. As their frustration mounted, they turned to Reddit’s Elden Ring community to unravel the mystery and made the connection between the ‘bug’ to a particular feature of their controller.

The wonderfully weird indie duo Water From Your Eyes paid tribute to one of their many wonderfully weird predecessors, Ween, with a new cover of “If You Could Save Yourself (You’d Save Us All).”
The original tune appeared on Ween’s 2003 album, Quebec, a big, winding ballad flush with orchestral strings and end-of-relationship agony. Water From Your Eyes deliver a fully unplugged take on the tune that’s no less affecting when stripped down to Nate Amos’ acoustic guitar and Rachel Brown’s vocals.

Josh Hutcherson may have gotten his big break when he was cast as Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games franchise, but he'd actually been a staple in Hollywood since he was very young. His most recent starring role is in the horror film "Five Nights at Freddy's," based on the video game of the same name, but he's been in tons of other movies as well, dating all the way back to his days as a child actor.
Way before he was running from demonic animatronic characters in "Five Nights at Freddy's," Hutcherson was just a kid working his way up. He had minor roles in 2004's "The Polar Express" and 2005's "Kicking and Screaming," and one of his first major starring roles was in the 2007 film "Bridge to Terabithia," which he starred in when he was 13 years old. If you saw "The Fabelmans" — and judging from the film's underwhelming box office, you probably didn't — you might think you know exactly how Steven Spielberg broke into show business. Snap Wexley hired him to work on the hit TV sitcom "Hogan's Heroes," he got great advice from an ornery John Ford, and the rest was history.
Except Steven Spielberg didn't really work on "Hogan's Heroes," and he didn't get advice from John Ford when he was actually starting out in the industry. Instead, he met the legendary director of "How Green Was My Valley" and "The Searchers" when he was only 15 years old. It turns out that Steven Spielberg isn't really above smudging the truth a bit in his movies, if he thinks the truth gets in the way of a good story.

Numbers have begun rolling in for this first full weekend in October and they are generally in line with our predictions from Thursday. The Exorcist: Believer is coming out on top with what is looking like a softer than expected $28 million (tracking had the film taking in between $30-$36 million).
This is both good and bad news for the newest entry in the decades old franchise as it definitely represents a franchise best opening, and that will certainly be the headlines for this weekend. While the fact that it is getting completely obliterated by critics means that this softer than expected opening will likely have a horrendous second week drop. Ranging from calling it dull to our own Chris Bumbray calling it “awful” in his 4/10 review. And whereas sometimes there is a big discrepancy between critic and audiences, this one seems to be hated by both as it currently has a 55% audience score.

Victor Erice, one of the greatest of Spanish filmmakers, will receive a prestigious Donostia Award, given for career achievement, at the San Sebastian Film Festival.
The award will coincide with a screening of Erice’s latest film, “Close Your Eyes (Cerrar los Ojos),” which world premiered at Cannes in May.
Few awards seem more appropriate. The statuette will be presented to Erice by Ana Torrent, on the 50th anniversary of “The Spirit of the Beehive,” Erice’s multi-leveled masterpiece, which starred a 6-year-old Torrent and went on to win San Sebastian’s Gold Shell, its highest award.
It was Erice’s first feature, “Los Desafios” — a triptych anthology produced by Elías Querejeta and presented by a youthful Erice at San Sebastián in 1969 — that helped give San Sebastian a social-issue edge which it has never abandoned, compounded by “The Spirit of the Beehive” and José Luis Borau’s 1975 film “Poachers.”

The Jonas Brothers's 2023 tour, aptly titled The Tour, is one of the hottest shows this summer. During every concert, the band is revisiting almost their entire discography by performing each song off their latest album, "The Album," as well as their previous four records: "Jonas Brothers," "A Little Bit Longer," "Lines, Vines and Trying Times," and "Happiness Begins." The setlist, which is made up of close to 70 songs, also includes tracks from their solo projects, including Dnce's "Cake by the Ocean" and Nick Jonas's "Jealous."
Since this is the most ambitious tour the Jonas Brothers have ever done, long-time fans of the group definitely won't want to miss seeing Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas when they come to their city. If you have tickets to see the trio, remember to snap plenty of concert photos because The Tour is set out to be a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Director Hugh Mulhern, who Dn last featured as part of our coverage of the Nfts graduate showcase last year, returns today with a new Riff Raff Films produced music video for artist Hak Baker. Mulhern’s video is a chaotic blaze of live action and animation, showcasing the pure chaos of a night on the town through a blend of forms and styles. The seedy, twisted imagery of the animation in particular feels like it could be lifted from a Robert Crumb comic or Ralph Bakshi’s controversial Fritz the Cat and the frenetic camerawork perfectly reflects the descending feeling of losing your inhibitions. With the video’s recent online release, Dn discussed the process of making it with Mulhern, talking through the challenge of blending animation and live action footage, the equipment necessary to pull it off, and the freeing creativity afforded to filmmakers through making music videos.

Beatles merchandise was everywhere in the 1960s. Fans could buy pins, record racks, mop-top wigs, magnetic hair decorating games, and even locks of the Fab Four’s hair. The band’s first recording is one of the most valuable albums around, but one rare Beatles record (or at least one associated with the Fab Four) trumps it, and we might never see the one-of-a-kind item ever again.

It's been five years since Kim Petras asked for all of our attention in her debut single "I Don't Want It At All." With a Grammy to her name, a charting new collab with Nicki Minaj, and her first major-label album on the horizon, it's safe to say the world is tuned in to the German pop star.
"I still go into sessions thinking I suck and I won't come up with anything," Petras admits while chatting with Popsugar on June 1 at the launch event for the third-generation of the Motorola razr+ in Brooklyn. "I feel like that's what keeps me going. I wanna make music forever. I feel like it's my calling."
Petras's early success came through, largely, the queer community. It was gay clubs, she says, that helped her learn "about music, about friendship, about love, about anything from my community." Gay clubs...

This post contains spoilers for "Yellowjackets" season 2.
Everyone always wants to know who the Man With No Eyes is on "Yellowjackets" ... but does anyone ever ask how the Man With No Eyes is on "Yellowjackets"?
In all seriousness, the visually-challenged specter remains one of the biggest mysteries of Showtime's captivating horror/thriller puzzle box series part-way through its second season. Is he merely the psychological manifestation of Taissa's childhood trauma from her grandmother claiming she could see a being with no eyes shortly before her death? This was also the first time Taissa glimpsed him, although we've no idea if her grandmother saw the same individual or someone else. He's continued to haunt Taissa in season 2's '90s flashbacks, seemingly guiding her to trees with that mysterious symbol carved into them. But does he actually exist outside of Taissa's imagination? And if so, what is he ultimately after?

Bitcoin and Ethereum have dominated the crypto world for years, revolutionising digital finance. However, not all investors find the two cryptocurrencies appealing. Big Eyes Coin (Big), a new meme coin, has emerged as a popular alternative. The coin has gained significant attention in its pre-release phase, thanks to its unique offering and a new collection of NFTs.
Big Eyes Coin has been designed to be accessible and fun, in contrast to the intimidating nature of some other cryptocurrencies. The token’s creators have placed community engagement at the forefront of their project, offering loot boxes and NFTs to its members.
Ethereum and Bitcoin Take Over Nft Market
When it comes to market capitalisation, Bitcoin has always been the big player. However, Ethereum’s dominance over the non-fungible token (Nft) market has earned them a reputation as the champions of the Nft playground.
NFTs are the new craze in the world of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

New York City has inspired a lot of music. The best songs about New York City include rock ‘n’ roll songs, synth-pop songs, and a classic rap single. Notably, Hall & Oates’ “Maneater” is a song about New York City.

During a 2020 interview with American Songwriter, John Oates discussed “Maneater.” “Well, it was about New York City, after the fact,” he said. “I got the idea for the song because there was a woman who was very — she was beautiful but had a very foul, you know, vocabulary. It was the juxtaposition of this great beauty with this foul mouth that really kind of sparked an idea to me that she would chew you up and spit you out.”
Hall & Oates decided not to write the song about her. “But neither Daryl nor I wanted to write a song that was anti-women or negative toward women,...

Rod Serling's horror anthology series "Night Gallery," a spiritual follow-up to his hit show "The Twilight Zone," began its life as a 1969 TV movie, consisting of three separate episodes directed by Boris Sagal, Barry Shear, and an up-and-coming novice named Steven Spielberg. Sagal and Shear were a long-term TV veterans at the time, having worked on "The Twilight Zone" and "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." between them. "Night Gallery" was Spielberg's very first professional directing job. Spielberg's segment, called "Eyes," starred Joan Crawford as a wealthy blind woman who pays a huge amount of money for an experimental eyeball transplant that will give her perfect vision for a mere 11 hours. As she removes her bandages following the surgery, there is a blackout in her apartment. Cue the disappointed "Price is Right" trombone.
