At the beginning of this week, I was like...can we speed things up Please?!
Then the end of the week was like a train riding off the rails. Wow. Things really started going fast and it seems like stories may be coming to a close.
Victor was shot, Mariah's head was based in...how did that happen?! Read on!!
Let's start with the train wreck that is Sharon. If we thought she went off the rails before, this is downright ridiculous.
Can anyone tell me why Sharon is off her meds? Did I miss her reasoning for that flaming disaster after Mariah confronted her with it?
Sharon was already seeing Sage. She's fully aware she's seeing Sage. She's not mentally impaired to the fact she's intellectually challenged. Sharon knows she needs her meds to help her through, well, everything (although I'm not sure the show is getting bipolar right,...

With the announcement of a possible sequel to It’s a Wonderful Life, the Internet is abuzz with everyone and anyone’s opinion. But the 1946 Jimmy Stewart-starring film isn’t the first holiday classic to get the sequel treatment. Some are just as spirited as their predecessors; others are the cinematic equivalent to getting coal in your stocking.
We break down seven sequels to holiday favorites to see how they fare before It’s a Wonderful Lie: The Rest of the Story joins their ranks.
A Christmas Story 2 (2012)

Despite its numerical designation, the recently released A Christmas Story 2 isn’t the only way to see the continuing adventures of Ralphie Parker. Did you know, for instance, that Jean Shepherd — whose writings served as the basis for A Christmas Story and several other Ralphie tales — actually reunited with director Bob Clark for My Summer Story back in 1994? Or that Shepherd himself appeared in other TV versions of his works, acting as a Greek chorus to the homespun proceedings? If you’ve never seen Shepherd — or didn’t realize you did in A Christmas Story (he’s the man at [...]...

I don't know who thought that it would be a good idea to make a sequel to the classic 1983 film A Christmas Story, but it looks terrible. If they wanted a sequel they could have at least made a good film! A Christmas Story 2 is being labeled an "Official Sequel". Back in 1994 another sequel was attempted called It Runs in the Family, which later released on DVD under the title My Summer Story. That was a crappy sequel as well.
Here's the Synopsis:
The original, traditional, one-hundred-percent, red-blooded, two-fisted, All-American Christmas continues five years later, with Ralphie (Braeden Lemasters), Randy (Valin Shinyei), Mom (Stacey Travis), and the Old Man (Daniel Stern). This time, Ralphie has his eyes fixed on a car. But trouble is sure to follow.
They just can't seem to recapture that magic that the original movie was filled with. It's like they're trying to force it,...

The full trailer for A Christmas Story 2 is now online, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies . The film, which goes direct to DVD and Blu-ray on October 30th, is touted as the "official" sequel to 1983's A Christmas Story (a sequel was previously attempted in 1994 with It Runs in the Family , later released on home video as My Summer Story ). "The original, traditional, one-hundred-percent, red-blooded, two-fisted, All-American Christmas continues five years later," reads the official press release, "with Ralphie (Braeden Lemasters), Randy (Valin Shinyei), Mom (Stacey Travis), and the Old Man (Daniel Stern). This time, Ralphie has his eyes fixed on a car. But trouble is sure to follow." The Warner Bros. Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo...

The Christmas Story sequel no one asked for is coming this October 30, what a scary coincidence, just in time for Halloween. Brian Levant (Jingle All the Way) directed the sequel that looks at Ralphie as a teenager who wants a Red Ryder 1938 Hupmobile Skyline Convertible for Christmas, see what they did there? Daniel Stern plays Ralphie’s “Old Man,” Stacey Travis his mother, and Valin Shinyei is brother Randy.
Interestingly enough, this has been attempted before with a 1988 with Ollie Hopnoodle’s Haven of Bliss (Jerry O’Connell played a young Ralphie), and then again in 1994 with It Runs in the Family (or My Summer Story) with Kieran Culkin as Ralphie.
Movies.com reported this and has the box art (see below), hey remember Leg lamp? They thought you might!
Go to hell.

Just when you thought the concept of direct-to-dvd sequels had been all but replaced by remakes and reboots, along comes Warner Home Video to remind us that Dtv flicks are still alive and well... and equally as frustrating. Apparently someone out there thought it was a good idea to create a sequel to the timeless holiday classic A Christmas Story without any of the original cast or creative team (admittedly, director Bob Clark and writer Jean Shepherd are no longer with us). Thirty years have passed since the original film was released but somehow Ralphie is only a teenager in this sequel, which certainly makes for some chronological confusion (I assume it is set in the 1940s?). Either way, Ralphie now has his sights set on a new toy for Christmas: a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline Convertible, which sounds slightly safer than a Red Ryder Bb Gun. Braeden Lemasters (Men of a Certain Age) will play Ralphie,...

TBS is in the midst of its annual 24-hour marathon of "A Christmas Story," the 1983 movie about a young boy's (Peter Billingsley) quest for a Bb gun that has become as much a part of the season as "It's a Wonderful Life."
But did you know that Jack Nicholson was considered for the role of Ralphie's father? So says TBS, which says Nicholson was offered the role and he was interested. The movie's producers became concerned about what they might have to pay Nicholson, however, and went with Darren McGavin instead.
Here are some other little- to well-known facts about "A Christmas Story."
- Author Jean Shepherd, who narrates the movie and whose book "In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash" is the basis for the film, also has a cameo. He's the annoyed man in the department store who tells Ralphie and Randy the line to see Santa starts back there.

It’s almost two decades since Home Alone 2, so just what did happen to Macaulay Culkin and his brothers’ and sisters' careers?
