The dialogue and scene of Jaber Al-Sharqawi "3am Achkiat masr" was historically, and remains in Egyptian cinema, in addition to the scene of drug delivery with the gang with "Youm wara Youm" password.

Egyptian Comics !

Warning: Spoilers
One of (Mohamed Henedi) best movies, if not the best yet. Director (Sherif Arafa) can bring the best indeed. For little instance, he insisted that (Henedi) must lose some weight for his role, and the result is clear; (Henedi) is in never better shape, having such a lively presence. He looks this time, and maybe this time only, as a bit crazy version of (Donald Duck)!

This comedy isn't less lively itself. The jokes are non-stop. And the whole thing is played like a live cartoon action. Well, a professional and amusing cartoon.

However, you won't miss the light satirical sense when the lead knows about China as huge industrial country which imports to Egypt its needs. Actually on a deep level (yes, there is a deep level in here!) the very simple story can say a lot, in low tone and devious way, about Egypt of 2004; where the rulers of its world are just gangs, belly dancers and imposters. While a nation like China has another life, "working happy people", and circumstances that can make a hero. I know. Too melancholic for a laughing movie. But the many laughs made it too marginal as well.

There are plenty of memorable stuff: The first 10 minutes of (Mohee) / (Mohamed Henedi); it is like a short cartoon named "Henedi & The Thieves"! (Soher El-Baronii)'s song about another thief, but flirty. The Chinese old lady killer and her way to communicate with the lead by boards got Egyptian slang phrases. The annoying Egyptian man in China that his bad luck got him in the lead's way. (Henedi) eating cockroaches. Henedi with a ticking bomb. (Henedi) as (Van Damme). And (Henedi) as (Bruce Lee)!

It doesn't want to be usual. For example, the lead didn't sing. Frequently the lead of our comic movies has to sing a song, at least one, mainly to propagandize the movie! It doesn't want to be easy too; remember the flying of the 2 leads in the sky after the explosion, and the Kung-Fu fights that were unprecedented in Egyptian movies.

The Chinese actors were so fine. Only the Arabic of the evil boss was horrible; (Henedi) had to repeat his lines so the audience would understand them well. In his latest role before his death, (Sami Sarhan) as the thief grandfather delivered one of the drollest "funny evil men" that he used to perform in his last years, after a career of performing just "evil men".

Simply the script, the cinematography and the direction led to a marvelous cartoonish comedy. Generally it managed to hit a high level of mastery that the Egyptian comic movies don't reach much lately.

So. An Egyptian movie in China. An entertainment from start to finish. One good, really respectable, comedy by (Henedi). And solid Egyptian comics. Well, these are rare things to be said about our movies. Not to mention one movie!

Finally, (Fool el Seen el Azeem) or (The Great Fool of China) asked, even unintentionally, the question: if, somehow, the Fool (the most popular Egyptian food) can be made in China, so how the Chinese spirit can be made in Egypt?! The same spirit that qualified (Mohee) to find the optimum of himself?!
