It is a bell tower quarell, which is in question here. It takes place in a small village, in the south of France, where a church bell tower, because of the noise it provokes, also provokes feud among the villagers. It is so French, typical . Without being a comedy, it is pretty realistic about how people behave, talk, think. It may be amusing from time to time, thanks of the actors, for instance Jacques Dufilho. This issue of bell tower, bell unbearable noise, is a pretty real problem, not only a fiction made for a TV stuff. It is real worth watching for those who crave this kind of French stuff. This topic would have been terrific, delightful for Jean-Pierre Mocky.
