- About two couples, longtime friends un which both husbands engage un long-term affairs
- Daniel and Alain, in their fifties, are long-time friends. Daniel is married to Isabelle and both are parents of Cedric. Alain, on the other hand, has been married to Fanny for 18 years and has a daughter, Émilie. One evening, while having dinner with friends and family, Daniel receives a call and is devastated to learn that Julien, his oldest son with his first wife Anne-Marie, has been in a serious motorcycle accident. Rushing to the clinic, Daniel and his wife are greeted by the doctor who tells them that Julien needs immediate surgery. Although his life is not in danger, the boy becomes a quadriplegic. At his workplace, Daniel is in tears when he meets Judith, a pretty young woman, to discuss a project. Very quickly, Daniel falls under her charm and starts a story with her. He also pays regular visits to Julien who is undergoing a long rehabilitation. Alain, who runs a store selling African art, has been having an affair with Farida, his young Senegalese saleswoman, for some time. Hesitant to leave Fanny, Alain devises a ploy to continue seeing Farida. He decides to buy her his own store at the end of the street. Suspecting Alain's infidelity, Nicole, Fanny's sister, makes life impossible for Farida to get rid of her. As his feelings for Judith intensify, Daniel decides to tell Isabelle everything, not sure he wants to leave her. Thing which finally will be done with the great dismay of Cédric. Furious, the young boy rejects his father with anger and insults. But Daniel makes him understand that he has no right to intervene in his private life. Not being able to choose between Fanny and Farida, Alain sinks into depression and leaves to be treated in a specialized establishment. During his hospitalization, he finally decides to give up Farida and to stay with Fanny, realizing that he has always loved her and that he does not wish to hurt their daughter. Back home, Alain rekindles a strong sexual relationship with Fanny. The story has a happy ending for both men: Alain, who stayed, is having a happy life with Fanny (driving a beautiful Testarossa). Daniel, who left, has regained a taste for life with Judith and her sons, Julien and Cédric.
