Goofy-bunny Mr. Whiskers meets prissy-pooch Brandy Harrington within a cargo hold of a plane. When Whiskers mistakenly opens the hatch door, the pair is dropped into the Amazon Rainforest with no way home.
When Mr. Whiskers gazes upon a female lizard name Isabel, he instantly falls in love with her. He's certain that she's the love of his life, so Brandy decides to help him into wooing Isabel, though she finds it harder than she expected.
Mr. Whiskers, being bullied by Lester after unknowingly sitting on his rock, must find the confidence to stand up for himself before it drives him away from Brandy. Meanwhile, she is on a mission to increase her public image in the jungle.

Brandy, disgusted with Gaspar's dictatorship, riles the jungle dwellers to hold an election for king. She and Whiskers win the job, but quickly abuse the power just as bad as Gaspar, if not worse.
When Brandy stumbles across a suitcase that she wasn't aware of, she finds a handheld video game inside and she gives it to Mr. Whiskers in an attempt to get him to stop pestering her about playing a game.
Mr. Whiskers helps a jaguar named Lorenzo, but when he ends up driving Brandy and Whiskers at the hook, they try to find a way to get Lorenzo out of their lives.
Mr. Whiskers accidentally crushes Lola's shedded skin with a boulder, in which he believes he killed her. Not wanting Brandy to know, Mr. Whiskers get inside Lola's skin to fool her.
Brandy seems to have found a charming new date in the form of a Rico-suave ocelot, but Whiskers isn't so sure that he wants to date her, but rather eat her.
After Brandy tells him about lucky items, Mr. Whiskers starts to believe that his feet are lucky, though such is a claim that Brandy wishes to refute because she feels that such forces aren't at work in the world.
When Brandy introduces money into the jungle, she discovers it's hard to live a life of luxury when you have to earn your finances. So, she creates a youth gel in which she hires her friends to do all the work.
When Brandy inadvertently leaves her diary in the treehouse, she discovers that Mr. Whiskers has read nearly the entirety of her diary, which both embarrasses her and angers her as a diary is only supposed to be read by the author.
When Mr. Whiskers ruins a food drive that Brandy and her friends are trying to hold, he decides that he needs a purpose. When asking for a sign as to what he should do, a comic book hits him and he decides to become a superhero.
After discovering that the rumors about a tasty fruit were false, Brandy destroys an anthill in frustration. However, when the ants from the anthill come to her house next morning, she finds herself and Whiskers forced to join their army.
A bat has recently moved into the Amazon, though despite Brandy's claims that he's a normal guy, Mr. Whiskers believes that he must be a vampire and he tries to spread the word to keep people safe.
Brandy, Mr. Whiskers and Ed have stumbled across an ancient monkey's paw that is capable of granting any wish that its holder desires, though it tends to corrupt the wish in a fashion that prevents it from working correctly.
Seeing Brandy and Mr. Whiskers eat peanuts, Lola berates the two of them for so carelessly tossing their litter. Brandy isn't affected by her comments, though Mr. Whiskers decides that he needs to do more for the environment.
Brandy has been trying to get her cocoball team into shape, though when Gaspar arrives and he bets Brandy that her team cannot beat his team, she accepts the challenge, but she'll be forced to go onto a date with him if her team loses.
Brandy realizes that it's getting close to Christmas, so in an attempt to try to get back home, she spreads the word of Christmas to the Amazon, as Brandy thinks Santa would have no choice but to come if people are looking forward to it.
