I just saw this short film, which clocks in at a whopping 6 minutes. But somehow, they've managed to pack more laughs in those 6 minutes than most sitcoms have in 30! "Crooks" is a very funny send-up of that COPS TV show (thankfully, without the annoying "Bad Boys" theme song). The premise - a camera following criminals around as they commit their crimes, instead of following the police - is even funnier when you realize that there really are stupid criminals out there who tape their crimes.
The acting, directing and dialog are all very well done. Even though this was a short film, you can tell that there was a lot of careful thought and preparation that went into this production. If you like seeing dumb criminals get what they deserve, with lots of laughs thrown in, then go out and find this gem!
