- In the directors cut there is a blink and you'll miss it shot of a woman's bare breast.
- One scene where a woman is wearing a tank top without a bra.
- Scene of nude men and women harvested for blood. (Genitals are covered, breasts are not). It is unclear whether these are actually people or merely mannequins/constructs.
Violence & Gore

- Many bloody and violent scenes.
- A vampire vomits violently and then explodes and sprays blood over an entire room.
- A vampire is shot through the forearm with a crossbow. No blood.
- A vampire is slashed with a knife several times and then decapitated. There is a lot of blood and multiple shots of it's severed head.
- A vehicle crashes into a metal bridge with the supports going through the windshield. A large blast of blood is blown out of the rear window before the vehicle explodes.
- A vehicle crashes and sends a flaming vampire (as it is exposed to sunlight) through the windshield. The vampire is later shown wounded and covered in blood.
- Throughout the film vampires consume human blood as if it were casual coffee or fine wine.
- There is a battle scene where several people are blown up with explosives and shot with tranquilizer darts.
- A young woman stabs her father with a knife (offscreen). She is then knocked unconscious with the butt of a rifle.
- The main character intentionally sets himself on fire briefly. He does this three times in succession.
- Three instances of vampires biting people on the neck to infect them. There is a moderate amount of blood in each instance.
- Several decaying corpses are shown in grisly detail.
- Several vampires are executed by tying chains around their necks and then dragging them with an SUV into the sunlight. Graphic CGI.
- A woman is tied to a chair with her wrists cut up and bleeding.
- A man is ripped apart and decapitated by an army of vampires. Very graphic.
- Another man is eaten alive by an army of vampires.
- Several vampires are stabbed or shot causing them to burst into flames and explode.
- Approximately ten people are simultaneously eaten alive by vampires. This's extremely gory.
