Had its world premiere at The Embassy Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand. The same theatre that held the World Premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003).
Shot on location in Wellington for a total budget of $1500 with "approximately 217 favors". The shoot took a total of nineteen days and was shot with essentially a three man crew.
Accepted into the 2004 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFF), the Largest Film Festival in the World.
As with many low budget New Zealand features, the project required a fair bit of Kiwi ingenuity. Unable to afford to hire a set of regular film lights the boys rigged together two twenty dollar workman lights gaffer taped to stands made from old tents poles and bases made from four-by-two.
While the shoot only took 19 days, it took over a year and a half for the sound design to be completed and two and a half years to finish the film.
